Them's fighting words. I think that all union members should stay away from Pechanga, Patronize another business.
Macarro would probably be given a little weight for his opinion. At least under the "it takes one to know one" category.
"The corrupt HERE union has cost Californians billions in new revenue, and millions for the Temecula Valley," Pechanga Tribal Chairman Mark Macarro said in a statement released Friday afternoon. "We are deeply disappointed by these political games."

Macarro has led the tribe during an illegal moratorium, two eliminations of family, overturning the will of the people, and allowing his council to be late to disenrollment hearings. And he calls the UNIONS corrupt??

The disenrollment at Pechanga corrected errors in the membership roll. The disenrollees should never have been enrolled. Hence, the disenrollments brought the membership roll closer to conformity with the membership criteria.
Takes one to know one Mark. Talk about corruption. I'm going to email all union presidents your link and comment. There you go stickin your foot in your mouth again.
Email all unions with his comments, ask the unions to stay away from Pechanga. Vote no against Pechanga.
Union members need to support all unions.
If Pechanga will cheat their own people, you don't think they will cheat their union brothers?
Another View, spouts a lie so often, I'm sure he almost believes it by now. Except, that he knows that the real answer is: The enrollees should never have been disenrolled.
Disenrolled makes it sound like the members didn't have their heritage ripped from them by people who only wanted the money the were getting.........
The disenrollment at Pechanga is Illegal. The disenrollees were recognized by oral tradition. According to Antonio Ashman, "Paulina Hunter was a member of the Pechanga Band." According to Dolorus Tortuga, "Paulina Hunter lived at the Pauba Ranch before Pechanga was created, and was recognized by her as a Pechanga indian." The correction in membership is a twisted propoganda machine of the CPP. Lies, Lies and more lies.
Also ignored by the disenrollment committee, among other things, were seven notarized legal depositions from current tribal elders who testified that they have always recognized the Hunter family as being Pechanga people. Plus the fact that Paulina Hunter had a trust patent from the United States government for her land allotment, Pechanga allotment number 62, that lists her as a Temecula Indian.
In addition she is listed as living with her people on the Pechanga reservation from 1893, the year the first census for the reservation was taken, until 1899, the year of her death.
