Since the Department of the Interior has been checking our blog for allotment information, I thought I'd make it easier for them.
Allotments at the Temecula Reservation from 1897; PECHANGA denies historical FACTS
Paulina Hunter's parents, as proved by the Temecula Band of Luiseno Indians from the Pechanga Reservation are the ONLY ones that mention Pechanga on their birth records. And Hunter's are one of the FEW families that still have their allotment. Yet the tribal council STRIPPED them of their citizenship.
Notice how the name for the place is the TEMECULA RESERVATION? Pechanga is a PLACE.

How many people still own their allotments does anyone know?
ReplyDeletePechanga Tribal Council KNOWS. And it's not many.
ReplyDeletetosobol clan still have theirs lot 76 48 47
ReplyDeleteSo the Tosobol Clan would actually be 3 families?, and the Hunters would be 4. Do the Rios family still own property?
ReplyDeleteDid they give the Pechanga council the authority to act on their behalf in water rights negotiations?
The water rights should be for ALLOTTED family, not the tribe
No permission or negotations with Tosobal clan Regarding allotments by tribal council or Department of INTERIOR It is my thoughts the BANISHMENT OF TOSOBAL CLAN ORDERED BY PECHANGA TRIBAL COUNCIL {WE HAVE PROOF}Ben and paul vasquez are building on allottments, and the water rights settelment act is a FACTOR WITH CRIMINAL INTENT BY TRIBAL COUNCIL and In Probate THE ANTHONY TORTUGA ESTATE which entitles his heirs 7 allotments of of undivided acres of reservation land 50 acres AND MORE IN LAHOYA some are divided land they knew TOSABOL ARE HEIRS OF ANTHONY TORTUGA,AS WELL AS ARRO, MAYBE A CRIME HAS BEEN COMMITTED ,
ReplyDeleteThis needs to be reported to the Department of Interior and probably to the Congresspeople that were seen in Washington. Again and again.
ReplyDeleteAlso, to YOUR own congressperson. Even if it's not Bono or Issa, your representative should look into it for you.
In fact, that's a good way to get them involved.
The Rios family is part of the tosobol Clan we own an intrest in lot 76

ReplyDeletelorene20@verizon.net SEND EMAIL TO MIKE RIOS
ReplyDeleteAS it was told by my father it may have something to do with them or one of them and a bottle of some kind of liquor or wine and they talked her out of her land after a night of drinking they are not honorably men
ReplyDeletePaul Vasquez has the opportunity to become the honorable elder of the tribe, by standing up for his Tosobol family.
ReplyDeletePaul, DO THE RIGHT THING. Bring your FAMILY home.
Munoas, add your voices to let your family share in what is rightfully theirs.
Letters to enrollment committee and Tribal government were recieved confirmed Today -- each tribal council member has a copy, now we wait for a response like all of 14 years
ReplyDeleteThat is what I don't get as Paul and Ben Vasquez stood up for us the Hunters during our disenrollments but they won't stand up for their own blood?
ReplyDeleteJohn Munoa though has said that non tribal members cannot get alloted land so we know, if even he is wrong, where he stands on the issue.
Hey Raymond and Jennie were is your Allotment?......I forgot Your family are not from Indian blood and your family have no lineage to this tribe....You and your families must be sweating like Pigs or like in your language Merano's
ReplyDeleteWhen the moratorium was put into place how were the applicants told?
ReplyDeleteWhere are the names kept?
Were files kept?
Are they still adding names to the Moratorium?
How does one know?
Is there a filing system or what?
Still over two weeks of open enrollment. Get your applications IN.
ReplyDeletehow the moritorium people were told --is by a letter sent 11 months after applicatioNs were turned in january 1996 the letter was recieved that a moritorium had been voted to review the hundreds of applicants for a few months our familys applications were back dated to be included in the moritorium voted on in febuary of 1996 or therafter I was informed by the enrollment committee of this backdating whatever that funkin means january 2 2011 first heard of by me or heard of --you know that Peechanga does not send you notice of anything or gives any information about BANISHMENT OR RESTRICTIONS THEY JUST ORDER IT SO THE TRIBAL COUNCIL ORDERS A LOT OF THINGS NOT WILLED BY THE PEOPLE
ReplyDeleteSo you are saying you were JUST notified of being in the moratorium? How odd is that?
ReplyDeleteno just notified the jan apps were backdated to be included in moritorium voted after enrollment apps were already turned in at the enrollment time period
ReplyDelete"how the moritorium people were told --is by a letter sent 11 months after applicatioNs were turned in january 1996 the letter was recieved that a moritorium had been voted to review the hundreds of applicants for a few months our familys applications were back dated to be included in the moritorium voted on in febuary of 1996 or therafter I was informed by the enrollment committee of this backdating whatever that funkin means january 2 2011 first heard of by me or heard of --you know that Peechanga does not send you notice of anything or gives any information about BANISHMENT OR RESTRICTIONS THEY JUST ORDER IT SO THE TRIBAL COUNCIL ORDERS A LOT OF THINGS NOT WILLED BY THE PEOPLE"
ReplyDeleteThat was one of the things new members elected to the enrollment committee in 2002 found out upon joining the committee, including a member of the Hunter family, that people who had their applications in before deadline for the start of the moratorium had been put in the moratorium and that the committee, namely four women from the CPP faction of the tribe, were not doing the duty they were elected to do.
Also, the committee, controlled by the CPP members, had not been processing applications of children from families they didn't like and those applicants also ended up in the moratorium.
Another thing the newly elected enrollment committee members of 2002 found was that adults had been enrolled, despite the moratorium, in 2000 prior to the tribal elections.
What did we the Hunters get for our relative trying to do the right thing by trying to get the committee to act in manner that was fair to all?
Served with disenrollment papers by those same four women from the CPP who they had questioned their actions!
In all do respect did paulina get her land grant or alotte from being maried to ....... or her
