The Apartheid practicing Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians, well known for decimating 25% of their tribal citizens, will have an election on March 6, 2011 to fill the vacancy left by the death of Norman Pico Sr, last October. Five months is a long time to hold the position vacant.
They will also vote to ratify the new secretary, who replaces Darlene Miranda. Louise Burke has been tapped for that position.
There will also be discussion of a new state gaming bill "favorable to Pechanga".

Illegitimate enrollments, illegal moratorium aka scheme to steal from legitimate descendants of Pechanga.

Major clue: Laura Y. Miranda,Cohen (sp) and John Macarro all unethical; anything that flows from their tampering under color of position is null and void for fraud.
Funny how Darlene resigned because she was cut out of all meetings and all from what I heard. Then I've also heard that they are having big discussions about the commission and their lack of experience/mistakes being made, like licensing Ray Basquez Jr.

Don't know his position, but I heard they gave him an "A" license. Will be interesting to see what the NIGC and the state gaming commission is going to say. Isn't he a cousin of Mr. Vargas?
Yes he is cousin to Mr. Vargas. As for the investigations once the two new Commissioners came on board I heard the investigators where taken out. Wonder if it was there families being investigated. Hopefully Pechanga will do the right thing and get someone in there who is honest and has some experience. I hear that place is a mess since Mr. Pico's passing. Willie is the honest one.
We all get different info. I've heard that Willie rolls over on whatever the two new ones want. Both families have some people they want in for more power within the tribe. I just heard today that John Magee is dropping out of the election. Maybe his cousin should've rerun.
Willie does not role over he does what he feels is right. Jason is the one who wants to be in good with the other two. I know everything is confidentual over there but I think the tribe has a right to know if the people they elect are in compliance. Do we know if they are making up new rules as they go along. I've personally heard thats the case. I also they picked a surveillance director that wasn't tribal when they have a tribal member that has worked in surveillance for 12 years. What happened to members first. I'm quite sure he is more than qualified. Oh ya by the way I'm not related to Willie I just know he is an honest man and is doing what he thinks is best for his tribe
The tribal member that was passed for the Director's job had been the director before. They passed another tribal member after he had quit. He had upset the commission when he quit with no notice. Jason has taken after Norman in trying to stand up for what's right. Willie is just sticking with his family. Not related to Jason, but know the guy well enough to know his standing with the others now.
Other former commissioners that worked with Willie know how easily he can switch it up on you when pushed. Honest, but easily swayed.
Oh my goodness are you trying to compare Jason to Mr. Pico. What a joke. Why are former commissioners taking about Willie. Not one of them has always been so honest. He has only worked with two that are no longer there.
Not trying to compare him to Mr. Pico. Just know that he is trying to stand up to the others. Name the others that have not been so honest. I know that Norman and Jason stood against the others together. Can you say that about Willie? Both Mrs. Luna and Mr. Magee got hit with Willie being a deciding factor against them before. Tell either of them that they were not honest with the tribe.

stella fuller is no good too. i heard she is sleeping with casino manager mike may and letting him terminate numerous employess for anything he wants. just to get rid of them. and they fired all the people that cooperated with the department of justice about the corruption going on at pechanga
