An ex-police officer allegedly caught with sexually explicit images of children on his home computer today pleaded not guilty to possession of child pornography.
Hector Jesus Zamora, 42, who worked for Pechanga, which has their own sex offenders on the rangers, could face a year in jail if convicted of the felony, for which he was arrested on Nov. 1.To read about the arrest, click here. (That's it?)
The defendant appeared with his attorney today before Riverside County Superior Court Judge Becky Dugan, who set a felony settlement conference in the case for Jan. 31. Zamora remains free on $5,000 bail.
According to the District Attorney's Office, members of the sheriff's Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (SAFE) team allegedly located two-dozen explicit pictures, some of them depicting underage girls, on his desktop.

We've tried to get regestered SEX offender Ronnie Rivera fired from our police force but Chief Mark Macaro keeps him on??? He's Marks personal righthand man...and promises him lots of votes at elecetion time! It's all about coruption here at Pechanga!
What's a little sex offense to a corrupt politician.
I can't wait for this new rule to go into effect where all states can have online gambling....it's going to really cut into the tribes income because they won't be the only ones allowed to have it....many states are going to make it like part of the lottery and make the money for themselves...poor Mark....going to lose some power...the justice department already decided it's legal for the States.
"Online Gaming ", what a "Concept!" And your right, it will cut into the profits that "Pechanga," and others, will have to endure. Endure to the extent of more forced "Disenrollments and Banishhments" to take up the slack because of soon to be "Diminishing Profit Margins," and their "Almighty Percap." You have got to know that these "Criminal and Corrupt Tribal Leaders" are working feverishly to combat this new threat. Its all going to be: The end is going to "Justify the Means!" That is their "In-sah-able Quest" for more, and the "Oppressed Native American Indian" will, "Again" suffer at the hands of these "Treasonous Leaches." How many more "Legitimate Indians" will fall by the wayside? You "Hide and Watch" the "Government(Indian Affairs)" stand back and give "Creadibilty" to this new assault by these "Corrupt and Criminal Casino Indians." If "Internet Gaming" passes, and there is a reasonable chance that it will happen: "And There Will Be No One To Stop Them!" The "Government(Indian Affairs)" surely won't "Bite The Hand That Feeds Them." It's all about the "Money" with these "Thieves." Don't anger the "Big Bad Wolves."...A.K.A... "Corrupt and Criminal Tribal (Casino) Indians" because of the "Inflated" power that they perceve to exist. The D.O.J. has the "Ability and the Means" to put a stop to this "Travisty of Justice" that is so firmly embedded within "Indian Country." It is the "Nature Of the Beast." You allow yourselves to be a big "Part Of the Problem," now how about being "Part of the Solution" and for once do you job? Put a stop to these "Criminal Acts" once and for all! You see what is happening, now finally take a stand for the good of all "Native American Indians" in your charge. "Justice In A World Of Injustice" has happenned because of your "Inability" to Act Responsibly" for the good of all "Indians," not just the "Criminals" you always stand behind. It is "Unexcusable!" It gives in to the "Notion" that you are "Paid off." Prove that "Notion Wrong!" Take action against these "Criminal Enterprises." The evidence is so out there to be had.
I really do NOT understand how they can take the stand "it's a internal matter", and the "Tribe has the right to choose it's own membership", when the Tribe attempted to fix these very problems internally, and when the Tribe (the General Membership) attempted to keep the Hunters in the Tribe and outlaw disenrollment.
The Tribe itself made the attempt to outlaw disenrollment and keep the Hunters in the Tribe by voting to pass these measures. Voted to remove disenrollment from law, voted to STOP ALL disenrollments in progress, and voted to keep all current Tribal Members in the Tribe including the Hunter Clan. When asked if the Hunters would be covered, Mark stated "all means all".
So here we have a case where the Tribe attempted to choose it's own membership, and the counsel decided the General Membership did not have the right to make membership decisions.
The "Tribal Council" exceeded its "Authority!" That's a given. So why didn't the "General Membership," knowing full well, that they were going against "Tribal Law" and reference our "Constitution and By Laws, in which the no "Disenrollment Clause" that was voted into said "Constitution?"
Smokeybear, they all got a raise in their per capita and the more time that goes by, the easier it is to forget what happened.
I have talked to tribal members, in particular younger ones, who say they have no idea what happened to us and they don't seem to believe that their tribe would do that to anyone or, as with a lot of others, they just don't care enough to do anything about it.
But it is not just the younger ones as I have had elders tell me that that they just don't get involved in such things even when they acknowledge that they know it was wrong.
It didn't happen to them, so they don't care.
"But it is not just the younger ones as I have had elders tell me that that they just don't get involved in such things even when they acknowledge that they know it was wrong."
I sometimes get a bit angry when I hear these things, but if I sit and think about it I can understand there position. The most important thing to them is there family or clan, and if such a thing no matter how abhorrent it might be, can be done to two such well established clans, how much easier can it happen to themselves.
Hide in the corner, and maybe they wont be noticed, don't bring attention to themselves. I don't think its greed for the main part, but fear is the ruling factor here.
I remember when I was in the Tribe even back then we were told "don't talk to those people", or "Don't let anyone see you hanging out with certain family's ".
They are not scared it could happen to them as they either don't know what happened or they just don't care

So these "Thieves" figure that in time, with no one to stop them, that we will all, eventually, be erased from "Existence?" It doen't matter what our "Constitution and Bylaws, or for that matter "Tribal Law," dictates.
