Pala Band, Paskenta Band and Lytton Band of Pomo Indians Give Gov. Jerry Brown $275,000 to Raise YOUR TAXES

Now isn't that special? These tribe want to raise YOUR taxes because most don't pay state taxes. Would they support a bill to tax all tribal members whether they live on the rez or not?

Brown's initiative would raise the sales tax by a half-cent and increase income taxes starting at $250,000 for individuals to raise an estimated $7 billion in the first fiscal year. Both would expire at the end of 2016. And tribal members who live on the reservation pay NO state income taxes.

"We wholeheartedly support this governor's vision for California," Quintana said. "We want to make sure the governor's vision can get before the voters so they can make a choice. We run the gamut of businesses, and if we don't have a healthy economy our businesses are going to suffer."

Remember when some tribes like Pechanga wanted to KEEP US FROM VOTING?

The PALA Band is the third member of this group, which is in the news for screwing it's people.

Let's save our money for these taxes by NOT going to the PALA Casino, or the San Pablo Casino or Rolling Hills Casino.

Well I guess that takes us back to whether or not the likes of "Mark Macarro and other "Thieving Tribal Leaders" have addresses on the reservation, in the form of a mail box, (so as to "Avoid Paying State Taxes")and living in their "High...Mucky Muck...Neighborhoods, off the "Rez," as "Mark Does." "Tax Evasion" is what took "Al Capone" down. Their statement of: "If we don't have a healthy economy our businesses are going to suffer" is rather 2 faced and "Calling the Kettle Black." We don't pay state tax, but we want everybody else to have to pay more. The amount of "Greed and Self Interest" that these "Corrupt Tribal Leaders" possess is "Staggering!" They use "Sovereignty" as their own "License To Steal." I.R.S., or the State Equivalent: "Are You Listening?" You go after the "Little Guy" and are "Down Right Brutal." You have the "Ability and the Means" to take appropriate action, or are these "Tribal Leaders" that powerfull that you won't even "Address the Issue of Tax Evasion with these Criminals."..."So Why Haven't You!"

Per captia is taxed by the state if the person lives off of the reservation but is not if he or she lives on the reservation.

However, if someone claims that their primary residence is on the Rez, and it really is somewhere else, then that person is evading paying state income tax.

Everyone pays federal income tax on per capita regardless of where they live.

Add on to my last post, I think the business should have to pay state income tax as don't all other businesses do so?

Many people do not realize that Jerry Brown resides in the same building where California Tribal Business Alliance, Howard Dickstein, Mark Friedman and Doug Elmets house their offices.

Is this a coincidence that these 3 tribes, who are all members of the CTBA are making these generous donations to Jerry Brown? I think not, but the true nature of their agenda may be hidden. I believe the true agenda is preventing internet gambling from coming to California. That is what is concerning the CTBA, Dickstein and their political machine!

Earlier in the year, one of these CTBA members (Lytton) made a generous donation to a JB charity, just days before the Gregory Canyon initiative was vetoed by JB. Maybe JB can't be bought? I don't know.

Dickstein is like a chessmaster moving his tribal pieces and hiding behind the scenes, not making his presence known. He is the true puppetmaster. He is paid generously by all these tribes and Pala may be his greatest benefactor, as his tribal arrangement was never disclosed to the General Council and is only known by himself and Robert Smith.

I can tell you, the people of Pala Tribe did not authorize any spending to benefit this cause. I know for a fact that Robert Smith isn't concerned about anything beyond his vision of sight and only cares about lining his pocket. It is all the doings of the Dickstein machine.

Dickstein is not the ultimate chessmaster. Dickstain is only one pawn. Jerome Levine is another pawn. Levine is superior to Dickstain; he has more restraint than Dickstain; Levine is more stealth than stain...he tends to keep his id under cover.

Make no mistake, these 'Indian Law' jerks are all cogs of an organization which operates with full Washington cover.

Corruption did not 'suddenly' become the underpin of Indian Country. Corruption is systemic. It has control of every aspect of
Indian Country.

Does anyone remember the movie "Mr. Smith Goes To Washington," and the "Political Machine" their in? Says alot about the workings of a "Political Machine," and their "Convoluted" efforts to "Destroy" for the sake of "Greed and Political Power. "Corruption is, what Corruption does," and it is alive an well in "Indian Country."
