Our new friend, Diane Peigler has started her blog on some injustices at ISLETA. We welcome comments.
Yesterday, March 21, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., President Fred Lujan and the
Isleta Tribal Council conducted a “due process hearing” to remove me from my elected Tribal Council seat. Click this link to view March 19, 2012 Letter of Removal from Tribal Council from Fred R. Lujan, Tribal Council President.
Please note on page two of this letter that the Isleta Tribal Council also requested a Motion to Temporary Lift of Temporary Restraining Order. You will notice that I received the wrong request (Regina Joyce Zuni, Councilwoman, Respondent). Also, please refer to Chief Judge Ernest Jaramillo’s Temporary Suspension of Restraining Order and look at the time under #1 of the Order (10:55 a.m. to 11:40 a.m.) so that a hearing will take place for her removal. (I also enclosed the two copies served by Undersheriff Robert Chewiwi and the Process Server). READ MORE AT THE LINK ABOVE

More corruption in the NDN nation. How much more can our people take? Hopefully dis-enrollment and corrupt tribal leadership will be something that California tribes can overcome and get passed.
Get a look at "THIS?

A top official for the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs is resigning to accept a leadership position with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Assistant Secretary Larry Echo Hawk is being appointed to the Quorum of the Seventy, which is the Mormon Church's third-highest governing body. It is a full-time position.
The 63-year-old Echo Hawk is a member of the Pawnee Nation. He has worked for Indian Affairs since 2009.
Echo Hawk was elected as the attorney general for Idaho in 1990, the first Native American in the country to be elected as a state attorney general. He ran unsuccessfully as a Democrat in 1994 for governor of Idaho.
The appointment was announced Saturday during the Mormon Church's semi-annual general conference in Salt Lake City.
The "Pressure" of always "Backing The Casino Indians" and their "Illegal Acts" has finally taken its "Toll" on "Old Chickenhawk!. He's getting out before the "Hammer Falls," and all the Illegal Acts" come to light.....Here's my take on this: " He's getting out, while the getting is good." That is...."Before it comes back too "Bites Him In The A..." Then there is the "Distinct Possibility" that "Chickenhawk" will accept a "Consulting Position" with the B.I.A and paid handsomely for his "Views," and no "Resonsibily," this time, for his "Corrupt Actions.....Eagle Eyes."
Diane Peigler and ReGina J. Zuni are liars and their WORD cannot be trusted.
And who are you ANONYMUS, ARE WE TO BELIEVE THAT YOUR WORD CAN BE TRUSTED???????????Here we go again, another corrupt Tribe, Isleta.
You are just as anonymous, Creeper. Besides Diane Peigler stated in her first blog that the majority of Tribal members are happy that she is not on Council any longer and for good reason. She's been a bully for as long as she's been on Council, a long time. This was NOT her first suspension as she would have everyone think.
So why should this "Surprise" anyone, for "Sovereignty" trumps everything "Legal and Just!" These "Corrupt and Criminal Tribal Leaders" continually makes this stuff up as they go, and..."You Lose!....."Eagle Eyes."
Councilwoman Barbara Jiron Sanchez's corrupt husband was finally indicted on Federal charges. She is a corrupt greedy animal.
On Tuesday 10/1/12 federal agents arrested 58-year-old Bruce Sanchez and 59-year-old developer Thomas Keesing on a 15-count indictment that charges both men with one count of conspiracy and 10 counts of embezzlement. Additionally, Sanchez was charged with four counts of tax evasion.
Did Councilwoman Barbara J Sanchez benefit from the looted coffers? Isleta and the Feds should investigate her financials to see is she is connected. Where there's smoke there's fire.
