Pechanga's Masiel-Basquez Crime Family At it AGAIN??

Oh what has Francisca Leivas wrought? The 3rd generation of the Masiel-Basquez Crime Family at has added a it’s newest member.

It seems the elderly, former chair of the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians has been terminated from her position in the education department.

Sources say it has to do with some shenanigans on getting dealers placed in the casino, then getting kickbacks from them for getting a job. As a member of the PDC, she was not able to have a dealer’s school that provided workers, as an obvious conflict of interest.

As luck would have it, 2nd generation crime family scion and uncle to the previous chairman, Raymond Basquez Sr. now owns a dealers school. Their website says that 99% of their students find work in the industry, well, now we know….

The F.B.I. has been investigating for years at Pechanga. Might we see an arrest soon?

On a leadership level, how will chairman Mark Macarro handle the abuse of power with his predecessor? Will he try to spin this away, or stand up for what is right? Well, if past history is any indication...he won't be standing up.

  1. Is that Jenny Miranda? Wasn't it her son Larry who was ripping off employee tips and he was fired from a management position at the Pechanga casino?

Sounds like this could be the tip of the iceberg. What do you think about this Tick Tock?

Is this the banishments that have been talked about?

  2. It is so sad that tribes like Pechanga are so stupid to fall into the trap of corruption that the government has set for them. This will lead to the end of tribal sovereignty. The government is licking its lips in anticipation of the last termination of the Indians. Tribes like Pechanga could take lessons from the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma who believe in taking care of all of their people because they know United we Thrive.

  3. I heard Ed Burbee died!! If so, that is one less evil person on this earth. God will stand in judgment of him

  4. jenny Miranda whose family is "adopted" into the tribe was behind the illegal disenrollments of hundreds of true Natives. Good one mark, keep the corrupt and punish REAL NATIVES. That's what sovereignty is about.

  5. Pechanga tribal council backs thieves corrupt and adopted, but disenrolls true unbroken lineal Natives.

  6. This should be again some nice publicity for Pechanga. Is it true 20/20 is doing a story on Pechanga?

  7. Raymond Basquez and Ed Burbee were in Las Vegas together a few weeks ago. What was that about?

  10. I wonder if the F.B.I. is looking in to when Jennie Miranda was on the P.D.C. she was buying and selling slot machines. That is a federal crime. Did Raymond buy Jennies school? Raymond can’t have a gaming license because he a convicted rapist. Do you need a gaming license to run a gaming school.

  11. Isn't Raymond married to an ex dealer?...I think I remember he is married to that ex dealer at Pechanga with the really loud big mouth and she is a teacher at his school..I wonder why she married that troll??..lol

  18. “Leave Jennie Alone!!!”
To Hell with Jennie and the rest of the family, I say let her wrought in a prison cell and toss away the key for 2 consecutive life sentence. WHO CARES about her.
This will be a good time for the Tribe to grow a backbone and stand up and remove this parasite from the Reservation.
She is a great threat to the tribe and has violated every one by committing this hideous act against the tribe. People have been disenrolled for far less reasons.
I say that entire family has no commensurate of proving any good for the tribe. Name one good thing that they did for the tribe. They are the Cancer of Pechanga.
They have no authentic paper work too prove that they are even Indian.

  19. Are Jenny and Raymond related?...I used to see him strutting around the Casino like he owned the place.

  20. Leave Jennie alone. She is one of the main persons behind the disenrollment. The disenrollment devastated families took away needed medical from the elderly and education from the children. That did not seem to bother her as long as she filled her pockets with their money. Now she caught stealing and committing crimes of theft. Ok this is a good person she needs to be left alone to continue her ways.

  21. She's old and decrepit...or does she just look old?

She is evil..I think some one said it...a cancer to the tribe.

A quarter million a year in per capita, a $100,000 a year salary wasn't enough?

  22. Does Andrew Masiel think he's above it all? His family has hurt the tribe and also cost the tribe in monies they've paid to Akin Gump/Holly's company IETAN with little results.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Jennie says they are related. Her mother is Ruth Masiel. Ruth was adopted because she was orphaned when she was a little girl. She has no birth certificate to prove her parents were. When the splinter group was formed she and Raymond banned together under the forge paper of the lavis line that Raymond’s sister Irene did in the Riverside B.I.A... It is said that they did find Ruth birth certificate but had it sealed I wonder why.

  24. That would be falsifying federal documents. Why wouldn't they be proud to be adopted children.

How come Jennie and Andy don't look much alike?

  27. So in all probability Raymond isnt even Pechanga?...how many people would be expelled if his family line was dis-enrolled?....better watch your back Raymond!!

  28. Raymond isn't worried, nobody has the stones to stand up to them. He's got smooth sailing.

  29. Why?...what power does he have?...or why are people afraid of him?..why is he untouchable?...

  30. It's Indian time for justice. Down with all that have tarnished and tainted the good name Pechanga once had. Yes, that includes the Miranda, Basques, and Macarros.

  31. I just heard that while Jennie Miranda was in PDC she bout slot machines and was selling them in Mexico for her own profit. Not only is this a federal crime Pechanga could lose its gaming license. If anyone remembers Recons council did the same thing and they lost their gaming license until the compact came in and was able to negotiate for their license back. Does Pechanga rely need somebody like this or are they just going to stand by until people like her have taken everything they can get until the casino get closed down.

  33. Where did they go in mexico? what gaming place?

  34. I need to know where the 4 million dollars that larry miranda took out of the casino went?

    Is larry ,Jennny's son?

Where can I get a copy of the video's that show larry leaving the casino with the money?

    ReplyDelete
  35. This is who Pechanga would rather have in the tribe instead of honest people like the Hunters and the Manuela Miranda family.

Make no mistake about it, Jenny was named Miranda because she married a Miranda her maiden name was Masiel.

    Larry is Jenny's son.

So we got rapists, embezzlers, thieves, liars, druggies, etc with questionable ties to the original people in and honest people kicked out who have very strong evidence to support they are legitimate.

Let's hope the people take a stand once and for all.

Folks, these are the thugs who led the charge to get rid of two Pechanga families.

What goes around is coming around?

Ironic, that if this racketerring is true, and the people ignore it and don't take a stand, it could bring everything down.

Don't say we didn't warn them.

  36. I think with all this exposure of who they really are is making Mark Macarro very nervous right now. If they get disenrolled from the Tribe, they may pull an Ace out of their pocket and open Pandora’s box on Mark. He needs them to survive with in the tribe. They have something on him and TIME WILL TELL.
Tic Tock and the Truth is half past.

  37. Mark and the council received this report before it was given to the people. I wonder how much editing was doing to protect Mark and the council.

  38. We will see. Mark has not looked himself lately. He should go to a donut shop and eat that guilt away.

  39. Everyone of the corrupt is shivering I'm sure. All it takes is one to be stuck to the wall and they will begin to sing to save their own butts. Jeannie handed the tribal chair over to Mark the corrupt when she saw the dollars she could embezzle from her position while on the PDC. Mark Also assisted his buddy "Butch Murphy" gain a years in service payout after he lost his seat on the PDC. This helped Mark not have to follow through on his financial obligations to Butches sister that bore Marks child. The iceberg is very deep, and can take the Titanic down. Corruption at Pechanga. BEWARE! Tick Tock Tick Tock

  40. So much anger, hostility, ignorance, and speculation all in one place. Meahwhile, yes, corruption has occurred, and serious consequences likely will befall the wrongdoers. Yet, they will have brought their own fate on themselves, and with only
themselves to blame for this blow.

"So much anger, hostility, ignorance, and speculation all in one place."

Really all you that mention is true, and all the points you made are a direct mirror effect of the "due process" of the corrupt individuals behind the CPP (corrupt Pechanga people)aka "splinter group". All of the mentioned observations you pointed out, stem from an angry, hostile, ignorant and speculative process were entire clans were removed from their rightful place in the Pechanga band and shunned by a corrupt entity who is using tribal sovereignty to promote corruption for personal gain. Its time to right a wrong, punish these people for this behavior and reverse the mistakes that were made when the Manuela Miranda and Hunter clans were illegally removed by this corrupt cancer.

  42. It is obvious that your tribal leader has no respect for his own tribe..he doesn't even live among his own people on the reservation...why did you guys ever vote in someone that was too good to live amongst his own?..Mark is an outsider and that's why you are getting screwed.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Mark was voted in by a quick movement in a corrupt circle infesting the band. He looks, talks the role. But he is a rotten apple to the core. Red on the outside, white on the inside and has failed the people. The thing people should be careful of today is what is someone saying to you? What is the outcome, if I do what I'm being told I should do. The band voted to accept the Murphy clan, "custom and tradition." The band voted to stop ALL disenrollments and investigations for the purpose of disenrollments, "custom and tradition". A corrupt faction broke tribal law 20 yrs later and sent out a letter saying the tribes General Membership does not have the authority to decide membership issues. According to tribal law, custom and tradition the band decides all matters. hmmmmmm who is the chairman "Mark Macarro" brother "John Macarro" legal department. Send out a letter to the membership full of lies. Smoke and mirrors people. Its time to clean the house. Before someone else does.

  44. I am a former boy friend of Jennie Miranda, I dated her for approximately 4 1/2 yrs. I have met most of her family, friends, relatives. I lived
on the Rez for 4 yrs, I was with her when she purchased a small struggling dealers school . I managed, taught dealers how to deal, the success rate of dealers from jennies school had a very high placement ( 90% were hired). I am an excellent teacher, and I strongly object to anyone stating that Jennie was paying to have her dealers hired, they were taught by me and I am a well organized person. No dealer ever paid Jennie for being hired at Pechanga while I taught school. The dealing school was named Casino Career Center and was eventually sold for a very low profit. I had met Raymond Basquez, Andrew Maisel and other family members, they were well liked, intelligent, and loyal as to my knowledge. I departed Temecula and Jennie in Dec 1999, anything after that I have no knowledge. I was there in 1995-1999 Dec.
During those times I was familiar with many things and never knew of any wrong dealings of the family. I would like to talk to someone regarding the above years, FBI, 20/20 I don't care, everything I say would be the truth. Were there people who disliked Jennie, of course there were, but most native Americans respected her and were grateful to her for bringing the casino to the reservation. I dislike Democrats but that doesn't make me a bad person. May justice be served, Joseph Arsanis, Dec 31, 2018.

  45. 6/6/19, a day of infamy to be remembered for yrs to come WWII June 6. How much longer will the talk, BS, accusations continue for Pechanga Rez? All the bad, negative gossip is not good for the tribe. If there was proof that Larry Miranda stole money he would be incarcerated, but he isn’t, therefore he is innocent. Why convict entire families? I knew Larry as a religious, honest person, just as I knew his dad Lawrence. If Raymond Basquez is owner of dealing school it would be licensed by the state. If he had been arrested for a crime and subsequently had it expunged ( which is legal) he could own a school. This country is very forgiving, following the law is allowed but to hate,
Speak badly about, be jealous should be a crime but it isn’t, so pls shut up! Obama’s not in jail, he is 10X worse than a felon.

Once I walked away Dec 1999, I have no clue as to who did or said what, therefore I cannot judge someone. I don’t spread rumors unless there is proof. I don’t have great memories of how I was treated while employed there as a shift manager, but enough water has passed and 20 yrs is a long time. Talk all you want, vote when you can but to post negative gossip is not helping your cause. Joseph Arsanis , hired to teach poker to tribal Indians prior to opening of casino early 90’s.

  46. 03/08/2023, my email address has changed to marsanis68@icloud.com. I read numerous comments regarding the Miranda family, since I lived with the former chair Jennie Miranda I would like to comment on what I know, not what I think. Jennie Miranda brought gaming to Pechanga and was instrumental in bringing gaming to other Native American Casinos in Southern California, so without her there would be no Native American Casinos. Jennie was always fair to all native Americans regardless as to which casinos we visited. So first of all without her help there would be no monthly payments, improvements to the Rez. Jennie purchased the poker school from the former owner who was struggling to succeed. I became the person running the school, I had former experience and trained all students to the best of my ability. The school had a very high percentage rate of being hired at Pechanga, never did I see, hear or believe that students were being hired at a rate pay for employment. I departed Pechanga and returned home Dec 1999. I had continued to hear how successful they were from having $150 monthly checks to tribal members to thousands of dollars. Jennie Miranda was instrumental in that. I knew Raymond Basquez (new school owner) and he was always a gentlemen, honest and devoted to his tribe. I no longer follow the gossip from Pechanga, yes it is true that money can change a person, but I find it highly improbable that it did. I support Jennie Miranda, Raymond Basquez, and Larry Miranda and would be available to comment positively on the above. Joseph Arsanis. marsanis68@icloud.com
