Our Friends David Cornsilk and Twila Barnes will stand in protest of her nomination.
Cherokees angered by Elizabeth Warren’s claims of Native American heritage said today they’ll stand in silent protest against the embattled Senate candidate during Saturday’s Democratic Convention in Springfield. “I believe we need a presence there. Warren hasn’t recanted her claims or apologized to the Cherokee people,” said David Cornsilk, a 53-year-old citizen of Cherokee Nation who co-created a group called “Cherokees Demand Truth from Elizabeth Warren.”
Twila Barnes, a Cherokee genealogist who said she has dug as far as 188 years into Warren’s heritage and found no Native American links, disagreed. “There are plenty of people from Massachusetts posting on our Facebook page who say they do care about that subject,” said Barnes, who is organizing tribal members to pressure Warren on her claims. “We Cherokees care about it, and we’re not going to stop talking about it until she tells the truth.”
Stay Tuned
Shame on you for attacking Elizabeth Warren Cherokee heritage and siding with her oppressive tribal government.
ReplyDeleteIf you asked the Pala or Pechanga tribal governments if the disenrolled people were members what do you think they would say?
If your not recognized by your your tribe your a wannabe?
That makes you all wannabes.
She has No Cherokee blood as traced by Cherokee genealogists. She is more akin to Butch Murphy or Masiels.
ReplyDeleteHer "heritage" is ancestor who placed real Cherokee in chains.
She has no tribal government
I agree with the first post.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the second . She has no Cherokee blood. Disenrolled Hunters have mountains of proof. Warren has none. Just an example of Democrats skirting the rules.
ReplyDeleteYou don't need Cherokee blood to be Cherokee, look at the Freeman Cherokees, decendents of slaves. Warren showed proof of her Cherokee ancestry, it's not her fault her tribe doesn't recognize her. If you call her a wannabe then all disenrolled and moratorium people are wannabes!
ReplyDeleteI think not!
Leave us moratorium people out of this ,were not talking shit about warren.
ReplyDeleteIts the dis enrolled hunters so make your comments to them not us!
Thank you ,have a good day
She did not apply to be Cherokee and the Freedmen are part of the tribe due to TREATY issues.
ReplyDeleteCherokee geneologists have proven she had no connections.
Pechanga did not prove Hunters were not Original Pechanga Temecula people. We were there before any Masiel/Basquez crime family were...
She's a fake, and a plagiarist.
Going by your logic, the pechanga enrollment committee proved your not eligible for membership, so you were disenrolled. That makes you a wannabe.

No that makes you "Ignorant Of The Truth!" The "Pechanga Membership" voted in that "Disenrollments were Illegal," but a year later did it anyway. We have "Overwelming Proof" of our "Eligability!" So where are you getting your "Convoluted Information?" The E.C. fabricated "False Information" proving "Nothing." So if you want the "Truth," look past your "Nose" and you will find that the "Hunters are True Leneal Decendants....."Eagle Eyes."
Elizabeth Warren is no more Indian than Iron Eyes Cody
ReplyDeleteYes, Tosobols only whine that this is a blog.... Nobody mentioned them being stuk in the moratorium....
ReplyDeleteThey are not stuck. They are in there unlawfully. According to Macarro, the general membership, has no authority on membership issues.
ReplyDeleteNobody deserves to be pechanga Indian more then the Tosobols ,I will call the news and tell them!
ReplyDeleteFor your information, my pen name here, 'aamokat, means Hunter so it is fair to say that I am a member of the Hunter family but, honestly, I don't know anything about Elizabeth Warren so I am not making any statements one way or the other about whether she is Cherokee or not.
ReplyDeleteBut I will say though, Pechanga lift the moratorium and let the Tosobols and others illegally caught in it in as tribal members.
Of course the moratorim person(s) will not give me credit that I have, all along, stated the same thing for years now and that, while I was a tribal member I was putting together a petition to end the moratorium but I was disenrolled before I could do so.
Add on to my last post, I would bet that I have written more about the moratotium on this blog than most of the moratorium people ever have but what do I (we) get for it?
ReplyDeletePut down by the very people we support.
What are Twila Barnes credentials? She's not listed as a certified genealogist. Has she even a 'Certificate of Genealogy?' I don't think so. Her 'team' of researchers on facebook pages seem to be uneducated blind 'followers.' She and David Cornsilk do not represent the Cherokee people or the Nation. Sounds to me like the pot calling the kettle black.
ReplyDeleteSounds to me like you don't know who Twila nor David are.
ReplyDeleteDo they claim to represent the Cherokee people or the Nation?
Warren has no Cherokee connection. She's a fraud. Now, she faked her own grandparents..or rather, composited them...
Tosobols for tribal council.
ReplyDeleteIsn't Ben Vasquez a Tosobol?
ReplyDeleteNobody else on the pechanga council is pechanga by blood.(just land owners)
ReplyDeletepollysgranddaughter has investigated the fraud & has looked at the original sourced material the one person in question in Elizabeth Warren's background; O.C.Sarah Smith & says that INDIAN only meant territory on the original sourced document. There were many many white people that went to live on Indian reservations due to the gov't promising free land at that time.

She can register with the united Cherokee nation, look it u.
ReplyDeleteyes, Ben Vasquez is a Tosobol but not only has he not helped his relatives get into the tribe, reportedly his wife was the one who complained about his relatives picking sage on the rez which led to their banishment.

No that makes you a "Treasonous Parasite" that refuses to accept the truth for your "Greed Is Showing."..."Eagle Eyes."
What a waste of cyber space discussing something so trivial as who is and who isn't a Cherokee. We would all do better discussing the real issues, such as poverty and unemployment among our people.
