Holly Cook Macarro, Wife of Mark Macarro, Tribal Chair Who Violated Civil and Human Rights of His Tribe, Opines on VP Candidate Paul Ryan

Hi powered Washington DC lobbyist, Holly Cook Macarro, spouse of Pechanga Tribal Chairman Mark Macarro opines on VP Candidate Paul Ryan in a piece in Indian Country Today:

In all, Ryan’s vision could be a dangerous one for Indian country, said Holly Cook Macarro, former Democratic Party operative and a partner with IETAN CONSULTING, a tribal lobbying firm.

“The Ryan budget doesn’t distinguish funding for tribal programs from the entitlement programs he is aiming for—this approach ignores the federal trust responsibility and directly threatens the neediest in Indian country,” she said.  “It has the potential to bore a gaping hole in the Indian budget.”

We'd have more federal tax dollars coming in if her husband hadn't set up two families for disenrollment from Pechanga and stealing over $350 million in per capita and benefits.  A reminder to all that President Obama has stolen over 700 BILLION DOLLARS from Medicare.

Recall that Mark Macarro was brought up for a recall when the tribe found out his wife's firm got Pechanga's lobbying business to the tune of $250K or more.    Holly used to represent Holland & Knight.  The tribe wasn't told, according to CPP (Concerned Pechanga People) that chairman Macarro would benefit by giving business to his wife's new company.

Another reminder:  Andrew Masiel Sr. is ALSO a Demcratic Party Operative, the head of the Native American Caucus of the Democratic Party.    He bused in kids from Pechanga to vote AGAINST civil rights for native Americans.    Is that the way of the Democratic Party???

  1. Was Mark married when he started seeing Holly?

Is she wife #2 or 3???

  2. So Macarro has paid his WIFE'S firm over $1 million dollars the past five years?

Who sees the expense reports? What has Pechanga gained with their million dollar spend?

  3. Mark fired holenknight so holly’s firm could take the position as Pechanga legal representation. This was all done without a tribal meeting to vote on changing law firms.

  4. No wonder they tried to recall Mark. Now, with Jennie gone, who is going to lead the criminal element of the family?

Why is Raymond Sr. not held to answer??

  5. So Holly worked for Hillary, Mark was on the platform committee for the Democrats, Andrew Masiel is on the Native American Caucus board...

    Democrats love corruption...

  6. Ha, ha: "We'd have more federal tax dollars coming in if her husband hadn't set up two families for disenrollment from Pechanga and stealing over $350 million in per capita and benefits." Gibberish. The same amount of money still arrives in the hands of tribal members in the form of per capita distribution, with the difference that the undeserving non-members receive none of it. We must presume all this distribution becomes subject to federal tax. Mark Macarro set up nobody. The non-members, once challenged, simply could not meet the tribal membership criteria. In turn, the non-members became disenrolled. Mark Macarro stole nothing. As a matter of law, per capita distribution must go to tribal members. The disenrolled non-members thus do not qualify for this distribution. Instead, this money goes to the rightful individuals. Please know, Dear Reader, the non-members spew general nonsense and lies in regard to Pechanga and its leadership.

  7. It was my understanding that most Apis and Hunters worked or had their own businesses, unlike the slovenly crime family and potato heads...

That would have put them in a high tax bracket.

Also, no "mailbox" Indians either, using the boxes to hide the fact that they weren't living on the rez.

  8. Well now, "Anotherview" is back (again as anonymous) with his "Unfounded Dribble!" You "Lie Through Your Teeth," that is if you have any. You still can't sell
that crap you sprew. Macarro's blatant acts of corruption are well known. The only thing saving his "A.." from being brought to "Justice" is his using "Sovereignty" to cover these
    "Corrupt Acts!"..."Eagle Eyes."

  9. Yes true, only tribal members deserve per capita. So why are "adopted" people and their offspring receiving what does not belong to them? Why is millions of dollars going missing at the hands of supposed tribal members? Who have done nothing but bring shame into Indian Country.

  10. Dear Anonymous in response to your quote towards "undeserving non-members:" Ancestry.com has now posted the Indian Rolls from California, including Pechanga, as public record. So, Dear Enrolled Pechanga Members, you all can see for yourselves now who in this Tribe was a native member of Pechanga instead of the "misunderstandings" that include statements like "they were from other tribes" or simply "that they are Mexicans". Also another favorite quote "they are johnny come latelys who enrolled because of the casino." The big question is "Is your family member that you claim ancestry from on these pre-1900 censuses?"

  11. Ancestry.com jajajajaja. Joke

  12. All who come to this site I wish you happiness and joy.

We have a saying, the honor of one is the honor of all.
There is no honor in Pechanga.
Look inside yourself, you can throw out the tribes hired experts findings "Paulina Hunter’s father was Mateo Quasacac, who was the only Indian listed as having been born at “Pichanga”."
YOu can discredit ancestry.com. But you can not change history, you can not change the Indian blood that runs deep in these peoples veins. As much as you may try.
I have lived my whole life on Pechanga and have never seen so much hate bred as that from the loyal corrupt pechanga people who have done nothing but tarnish Pechanga's once honorable name. NOw it is a joke, a tribe known for it's greed and corruption.

  17. Pechnga still retains Holland & Knight. FYI

    ReplyDelete
  18. If they still retain holland and knight then why does the tribe need hollys law firm.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Holly's firm is NOT a law firm, it's a lobbying firm.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Holly's firm has lost many clients, why would Pechanga keep them if they are losing their clout?

Oh, right, because Holly's money is Mark's money??

  21. Money can buy anything like clout, politicians, justice and power. That it is called the “Almighty Dollar”.

  22. Arizona Man Sentenced to More Than 15 Years in Prison in Money Laundering and Tax Scheme

Gino Carlucci was sentenced to 188 months in prison for his role in conspiracies to commit money laundering and to defraud the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and for filing a false income tax return, the Justice Department and the IRS announced today. On July 25, 2011, a federal jury in Phoenix convicted Carlucci of both conspiracies and the tax crime after an eight-day trial.

“This sentence demonstrates that those who would hide assets and income from the IRS using phony identifications and bogus documents, all for the purpose of enriching themselves, will be properly punished for their crimes,” said Kathryn Keneally, Assistant Attorney General for the Justice Department’s Tax Division.

  23. Remember when Jennie Miranda and the others were disenfranchised for RICO act violation and others were going to be brought before the tribe. I heard that Raymond Basquez and Ronald Rivera were on the next list of criminals to be brought before the tribe. Now Mark Macarro is not going though with his duties to the tribe to protect them from harm and possible closing the casino down for criminal acts. How long is he going to protect the Levis line till the reservation is liquidated?

  24. If you type Temculapatch in your search box they have a story on disenrollment. Mark Macarro is the poster boy for corrupt Indian government.
