Pulled this from Facebook with permission. The so called leaders of Chukchansi only follow the tribal constitution when it suits them. Should recognition be PULLED from the tribe?
Who is the real leader of our Tribe?
The answer is: Neither
Are we going to allow Nancy and Reggie to rip our Tribe apart?
The answer is NO!
The time has come for a new election.
The following are a list of reasons why there must be immediate change:
Both factions are corrupt, each accusing the other of stealing money, Nancy from the Casino Cage and Reggie/Chance from Chukchansi Inc.
This mess would of never happened if Reggie and Chance would have stepped down after losing the 2011 Election and if Jennifer Stanley and Nancy Ayala did not back them up. Nancy accepted an illegal referendum that was signed by 14 people when it actual required at least 250 people. Furthermore, Nancy stated that there were only 46 official Tribal Members. She then appointed Jane Wyatt on the Council, violating the Constitution in the process. Since Jane had been removed from Council for illegal activities, she could never be on the Council again.
Due to the split, both factions lost a quorum. Nancy/Charlie could not bring Tracey and Karen back from being suspended and Reggie/Chance/Buzz claimed Charlie when it was clear that Charlie was siding with Nancy. Reggie/Chance/Buzz had no authority (Lack of a quorum) to use Tribal dollars in renting office space over-looking the San Joaquin River. $$$
Nancy hired Bulldog Gang gang members as security guards. Do we want her as our Tribal Council Chairperson when she associates herself with gang members? Nancy’s Council appointed Nancy’s brother, Joe Ayala, to the Tribal Gaming Commission even after he failed a background check for his criminal history. Nancy, Jennifer, Chance, and Reggie were once good buddies when it came to destroying the Tribal Office by breaking windows, throwing burning logs and shooting pepper spray into the building. Now they are bitter enemies.
None of them are leaders. Nancy and her illegal Council took it upon themselves to broadcast to the world our problems by taking out a full page ad in the Fresno Bee. It was sickening and embar-rassing reading our dirty laundry. Furthermore, how much money did that full page ad cost? Under Reggie, Nancy, Jennifer, and Chance’s leadership, the Tribe has fallen apart and they are financially running the Tribe into the ground. In the process, they are jeopardizing our Casino by not paying $2,000,000 in interest to the bond holders. Do you know why your per capita payment in January was less than December? They gave your per capita dollars to Dustin Graham. Dustin claimed he was wrongfully sanctioned for 3 years and deserved your per capita. The truth is that Dustin was rightfully sanctioned for having an affair with a Casino employee while he was the Tribal Chair-person and for purchasing an Arlen Ness motorcycle for himself. Shame on you Reggie, Nancy, Jennifer, Chance, and Dustin.
Please go to this link http://www.thisamericanlife.org/radio-archives/episode/491/tribes?act=1#play and listen to Reggie selling out the Allotees for “Special Relationship”. Reggie says he follows the Constitution because it’s the law of the land. If that is true, why did Reggie appoint David Castillo on to his Council, knowing that he does not live within the 75 mile radius of the Rancheria? That is violation of Article 7, Section 3.
It is time for all of us, as Tribal Members, to demand a new election immediately and to elect a competent Council that can lead us out of this mess that Reggie, Chance, Jennifer and Nancy created.
If you believe that it is time for a change please sign the Clean Slate referendum and mail it today.

Before this becomes a discordant flame-fest, one question: if the last election ended in disaster, what makes you think this one won't?
Nickey needs to stop her lies..... Once again no one on the picayune or hired by picayune is a gang member.
Nancy isn't the only one using media nickey, you that just as well as every body else... At least she prints the truth and not a bunch of lies. Chance and Reggie had a vote that night but they didn't even vote to save them selves.. But if you were at the meeting you would have known that. You can't fight the truth. Sorry if you don't like it or the way its being drug out but its coming, weather you like it or not.
I don't lie... you people violate the rights of membership and then call it right. YOU VIOLATE THE PEOPLES RIGHTS and call it government. YOU are all treasonous creeps. NO ONE IS FALLING FOR YOUR SICK INTERPITATIONS OF BEING A NATIVE.
Lmao any and every government violate rights been going since the dawn of time. And you do lie nickey Livingston.... The Ramirez family. Is not inbred, Nancy did not hire bulldogs, maryan did succeed in gaining federal recognition, and if you dig deep enough you will find historical records of the picayune and of the chukchansi people, how they lived where they lived and who they were. There is a history, many of you have a hard time finding it, so you make up your own as you go.
all tribal members need to come together and make a change and take a stand. There are many of us we need to step up I know there is a lot that are scared but the tribe could make a difference
The Ramirez/wyatt family was on the picayune in the 1820's Nikki, there is no disillusionment about that. Their ancestors were not in Mexico, liar, they were here, always have been....check the historical documents. Maryans mother was born in the village before it was called picayune. As was her father. And her grandparents. Did you know it was an actual village before the white man turned it to allotment???? It had a name, a sweat house and a trading road. Do you know your history nickey...... I know mine.
undoubtedly, they were--
on the picayune land, AND elsewhere in what is now the coarsegold, deadwood, oakhurst, ahwahnee, poison switch, bass lake, and mudge ranch areas--as were ALL chukchansi ancestors and their descendants...
for the many villages were but a part of the WHOLE of the circle of our chukchansi people...
!!!bring the people--ALL the people--home to picayune!!!
Finally someone with some since
I put my name out there cuz I ALWAYS TELL THE TRUTH anonymous. Telling your sick version of tribal history is not fooling the people. You and OP do not have anything in common. You tell the truth well ALL NATIONS!!!!!
Tehachipi to toulumne????? That's not yokut territory Nickey......

"OP STOP taking advantage of ppls emotions for your own platform. Who would even post lies without knowing our affairs?? Who has PRCI probs?? Not me.Maybe your ignorant like some of these comments;meaning you don't know any better.. & that's okay. So one time for the record..if you have been disenrolled maybe you should tell your government in your native language..oh I forgot , most of you can't. Well celebrate your culture until your hearts content ., just don't expect that to come with a membership..."
Mrs. Nikki Luv, it is unreasonable to think that this is an emotionless situation. The situation being disenrollment. I though I can not comment on the issues you speak of. I can say I know what disenrollment has done to my family and my tribe. Our tribe has said that it is an internal matter and that they were correcting tribal membership rolls. We know that is false, and yes it has caused much negative emotions. The thing is the tribe has deliberately lied to everyone about the real reasons. We have offered to have an impartial judge listen to both sides, but they refuse, so who is hiding.
I understand both sides think they are right, so when there is no resolution emotions run high. I have seen the emotions in your own words, so be careful, or you might be seen as a hypocrite.
As for celebrating our culture, we do, yet we do not seek publicity or fame for we know our history and culture. it stems from having been enslaved during the missionary period of the late 1700s. We also know the feelings and emotions that were the result of having our women raped and stolen, our men killed for their land, and what it means to be forcibly removed to a place where we could see our land and those who took it prospering on it.
Last we were members long before there was a casino at Pechanga. Pechanga Indians are not real. They are no more than dripping water. That is the meaning of the word. It is the name of a place, not of a people. We are Temecula LuiseƱo Indians, or if you prefer we are Temecula Indians. The membership of Pechanga come from my family. When you attack those of us who are disenrolled you attack our ancestors who suffered the same injustices as you speak of.
OP is not to blame for the problem you have, so find the real reason for the discord you and your people are going through and deal with it, but do it in the Indian way. Do you know what that is? if you don't then you should pray to the creator, and ask for guidance. With purification, sensitivity, and patience an answer will come, but be prepared for it may not be the answer you want.
True words White Buffalo, I could not have said it any better.
Do you know the language and boundaries..? Didn't think so. Tehachapi IS the cut off and so is TOULUMNE . Perhaps your "google search" misled you. These distinctions have been around 100 yrs +.
Nikki Luv not whoever nikey is-
White buffalo, I am sorry for your troubles as I am for many others. My tribe and my govt govern my ppl and their issues. It is sad to me that others feel the need to comment on my house when they do not and never have lived there so to speak. OP IS NOT TO BLAME., how dumb would that be? OP does however fan the flames because of his/her OWN issues.
thanks white buffalo for your wisdom. Can everyone come to terms that the disenrollments that tribes are doing to indians are wrong, many been dissenrolled who are tribal proven by the BIA,language speakers of there tribe, people who started the tribe, elders that were full blooded. Dissenrollment is Ludacris.
Good words White Buffalo
