  3. I am so sickened by this. As a native I consider the Creator my FATHER and the earth my MOTHER. California is the name of my mother. "Cali" is young and beautiful and Jerry Brown is a dirty old man. He's going to dress "Cali" up like a neon whore ( Just like Nevada) so he can "make that paper." Why do California NDNs think this is the "native way"??? The creator sees the damage the casinos has done to our tribes. Why can't the NDNs see? California is my beautiful mother and I know the Creator will bring the wrath of the Lord down upon the people of California for allowing this to happen to her. AMEN

  4. All tribes recognized by the state of California deserve the right to gain self sufficiency. "Congrats" North Fork Mono Rancheria. Well deserved!!

  5. all tribes now can afford to screw their people over. Feeding off the addictions of people is the same thing a CRACK DEALER does. The creator will not bless this addiction fed economy. Instaed... WRATH is all we deserve in the end.

  6. What could have been a good ting for All Indigenous Indians both recognized through tribal membership and those without a home has now become the undoing of many tribes like Pechanga. It is not the Indian way to turn your face away from family for money and power. These tribes are becoming less Indian as the years of wealth and corruption lead the people farther and farther away from what is important. Fancy cars and other luxury things does not maie the people strong. The people have been lied to and made to believe they are secure. They have become complaicent, greedy, and hate filled afraid of their brothers and sisters. Afraid that we will take what they have. Personally I do not want their stuff, it will just decay as their souls. In time they will have nothing, and no one to blame. I pray my ancestors see the truth of my words, and I pray that the spirit guide me along the path that leads to a place where wisdom and peace dwell.

  12. The Chukchansi tribe is destroying themselves. Hopefully the North Fork tribe has observed all the mistakes that the Chukchansi tribe has made and handle their affairs with integrity and class.

  14. the Monos have second class citizens who DON'T get to vote who DON'T get per cap. Are we happy for them too or should we just be happy for those who get the big $$$$$$$$$. And I am not a chuknasty I am Chukchansi and I am against casinos. I hate the sight of ALL casinos. So enjoy your big money Monos. Are you really sure that the Creator is going to bless your addiction fed economy?

  15. Lets get our facts straight. The only money NFR citizens receive from the tribe is from the RSTF fund. That is because their is no other funds to be distributed. All citizens do receive this when it is distributed with the exception of minors. All do get to vote that have registered with the exception of minors and those with felony convictions. No members of NFR are treated as second class citizens.

  16. If you are from of the opinion that those that have Casinos are "evil", when you have your own Casino that you are dealing with, then it seems a bit hypocritical and you forget what the good book really says:
    James 5:9
Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

  17. Nickey, if you think that you are in a position to judge the Mono tribe for getting a chance at competing with your Casino, then you are forgetting the Creators own words:
    Matthew 7
Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? ...

You are a bit hypocritical, when you speak for the Creator. Just worry about all of the disenrollments your tribe has committed for the sake of big money. It is obvious that you are spiteful toward the Mono tribe. Practice what you preach sister.

  18. Nice to see that the North Fork tribe has taken a small tribe under it's wing. It would be great to see more tribes do this. It seems like a lot of tribes today are cutting roles for financial gain when it should be about having the ability to help each other and doing it.

  19. I was very sad to see my tribe decide to "GO CASINO". I also work very hard to SHUT DOWN (boycot) my own casino. I also risked my life during "occupy Chukchansi" to stop the greed from destroying my tribe. I also gave up my PER CAP check. I am definitely not a hypocrite. I am against all casinos no matter if it's native or not. BUT I see you ignore the fact I mentioned your SECOND CLASS CITIZENS who don't get money and who cannot vote. And where in the Bible does it say GAMBLING IS GOOD FOR THE SOUL???

    ReplyDelete
  20. I do not hold a grudge. I also spoke out against how our tribe was fighting another tribe. And also anonymous can you at least look at the numbers of NDN brothers and sisters who were thrown under the bus due to the fact that the act of GAMBLING can open doors to evil? If you think for one minute that there is not one greedy person with lust for the big $$$$$ in your tribe... you will think differently very soon. And to all nations your hate for ALL members of the tribe clouds your view of the good people of the tribe. That is why you stand alone in your fight and you don't support others chuks. My fight will be blessed by Christ because I fight for the people not THE RIGHT TO GAMBLE. THE MONOS ARE ON ANOTHER TRIBES LAND What about the fraud? the monos are already cheating someone out of their rights!!!!!! and the fires of CASINO HELL burns on and on and on and on..........

  21. Why is there a "problem gambling gambling fund" if gambling is not a problem. And all native should read the story on facebook about how one tribe had a successful boycott by stopping beer trucks from bringing booze onto the REZ. Now that's what being native is all about!!!!

  22. for ALL nations...for ALL chukchansi peopleJuly 2, 2013 at 3:48 PM

you are mistaken, nickey--i have hatred toward no-one of picayune...

however, i do refuse to condone the actions of many who now purport to be "against disenrollment", and who refuse to take responsibility for their part in what has occurred now at picayune, most pointedly morris reid...

i was there, as were many of the contributor's to original pechanga's blog, in 2007/2008 in sacramento when morris stood beside then-tribal chair dustin graham in front of the native american caucus in sacramento and supported the continuation of the horrific disenrollments tearing our tribe apart without recourse...

i was there on the phone in 2011 in a conference call with morris reid, dixie jackson, and harold hammond when morris refused to take any responsibility for the arbitrary and capricious dismemberment of hundreds of our people in 2006 and 2007--saying it was justified, even though knowing that all of the tribal enrollment records had been stolen by the wyatt ramirez families years before and in no way could be accurately reconstructed for dates of original application much less the "status" one applied under as petitioner, allotee, or distrubutee as no such process to determine this was in place--or required--at that time...

the factionalism we have within our own people is exactly what has been fostered by tribal councils at picayune far prior to the factions of ayala, lewis, and reid which exist today and which will continue until either congress utilizes their plenary power to intercede and remedy what has occurred or picayune exists no more...

good day and good medicine to all who truly walk the red road of our people in a good way for benefit of ALL our people throughout turtle island...for ALL of this country is truly indian land!

    WE ARE STILL HERE!!!

    a'ho!

  23. So nickey, you say that you hate your own tribe for having a casino?? Is that the "indian way" that you preach about??
Just because you want to give up your rights, why do you accuse others of being bound for "hell fire" just because they do not give up their rights??? You boast that you hate all Indians that have casinos. You are you trying to help??? You are at odds with your own tribe, so you pick on the North Fork Indians because they own land that is going to enable them to build a casino. They can not build one in North Fork. Why should they be left out. That is not fair. So the state saw fit to give them the land that they need. Why are you so jealous of their land, if you don't have respect for your own tribe and the land they use to have a casino???

You claim that the North Fork tribe has thrown their members "under the bus". That is a bold lie for someone that claims to love the Creator. You are so full of spite. Name one member of the Mono tribe that has been disenrolled, or thrown under any busses. I don't see any North Fork Monos complaining about it.
I do see your bitter spite and disgust for your own tribe that you leak out on to the other tribes that succeed with the plans to advance their weak economy.
I hope you feel better and find happiness somewhere. You are very hurt by this OK from the state of your beloved California.

  24. Once again DOE GOD BLESS GAMBLING ? I can care less how much money you make WHICH IS ALL YOU EVER REFER TO Chukchansi is not the first tribe to dis enroll because of greed. Whore houses "crack houses and gambling houses are all the same. Tell Jesus how much you love the casinos. See how much he cares about all the profit from addiction . I can't stand to talk $$$$ when so much hurt has been put on the dis enrolled NDNs. ANSWER about the addiction!!!!!!!!!!!! You seem to think I'm referring to just your tribe... ONCE AGAIN!! I fight for ALL dis enrolled NDNs . You stay stuck on yourself and your casino and I will continue to fight the PAPER GENOCIDE that you seem to ignore.
