PALA TRIBE's VICE CHAIRMAN Leroy Miranda is OUT -

In checking the Pala Tribal website you find this:

Howard Maxcy — Vice Chairman

Howard Maxcy has lived on the Pala Reservation since he was five years old. Maxcy graduated Fallbrook Union High School in 1995 and has worked for the Fire Department in Temecula for the last 16 years, where he works as a Fire Apparatus Engineer. When he is not working or spending time with his wife and two children, Maxcy enjoys playing golf and playing softball for the Pala Braves. Maxcy has served as Vice Chair since July 2013.

That's funny, we all thought that Leroy Miranda was the Vice Chairman.   Word is that he was forced to resign.

We wrote about Leroy when he was DRUNK in Public in September 2011:  http://www.originalpechanga.com/2012/09/pala-vice-chairman-leroy-miranda.html

This seems like a good move.   Can Robert Smith be next?

  2. Was there an election for the vice chair or did Robert Smith put him in.

  3. It could be a couple of things. Leroy was said to be missing meetings and definitely high on something most of the time, so maybe Robert did not want Leroy making him look bad so he told him to resign. Then it cold be that Leroy was just done with the whole thing. Word is that Kilma was trying to get votes by paying people to vote for him, it did not work. Congrats to Howard, it is time for change.

  4. SO there WAS an election? Does Smith have the authority to remove a council member?

  5. in a honest tribal government the chair does not have the authority to remove someone from council. but if he resigned then that different.

  6. The way Smith harmed his tribe, can he be considered honest?

  7. As far as I heard, there was an election during a meeting, it was not a formal election that included the whole tribe. Robert wanted Kilma to be Vice, that is why he had him offering money to those who voted for him. Wonder if he still paid those who voted for him even though he lost. When Robert and the EC went to court, Leroy was not with them, even though he was listed as a separate defendant, only Robert and Theresa and Kilma were there, so you know who the true evil ones are, plus Leroy was too drugged out to go. He would have been an embarrassment for the EC members and maybe the judge would have seen what really is going on.

  8. Kilma has been on the side of the disenrolled members. He told them to make sure they vote and be aware of what Leroy was up to.

  9. If he is on the side of the disenrolled why did he vote to disenroll them?

  10. Kilma has stated on record he was "ok" with the first 8 dr, but once he found out that MB was indeed fullblooded without question, he resigned because he knew smith and theresa and leroy's plan of vengeance on King was flawed and wrong. He resigned because of MB, but OK with the first 8??!! This line of thinking by Kilma is verification that he is weak, has no character, backbone, nor fortitude, but drives and boasts his wealth and fancy sports car around with his so-called Native American pride. The first 8 came from the same family tree the 154 did, they just happened to be direct relatives to King--again verifying this fiasco isn't about blood like smith states over and over. I bet Kilma also voted against King recently as King once again, took a stand against the evil bs taking place. Kilma could help fix this whole mess and he knows it, but then again it would take balls, bravery, and integrity to turn over the applecart. I wonder if Kilma's political affiliates know his recent "blue ice" identity. What's it gonna be Kilma, you a red ice player or blue ice?

  14. I think Robert has something on Kilma, because Kilma was going to side with the disenrolled and then he backed out and went with Robert and Teresa, and he was and is protected by the tribe's lawyers, he is not to be trusted. He is just trying to get his Super-Pac. After he backed out, Teresa Nieto was recognized for giving $50,000.00 to the Republican Party for Romney, and at the Same time she gave money to Obama, and Robert backed Obama with money too, whose money we all know, but they did. Since Kilma is on the Republican ticket then she must have done it to make him keep his mouth shut about what he knows and at the same time they are keeping their mouths shut about what they know about him.

  15. Kilma, the yellow ice man, scared to bleed. Ice man is scared to lay it on the line, like a little league kid in baseball who steps out of the batters box on every pitch because he is SCARED, wants to quit, his mommy lets him, so kid grows up a sissy or buys his friends! Scared of robert and theresa, scared to defend his people. Scared of the red road and the consequences he faces. Sticks his chest out and speaks in public about pride and heritage, got his Super-Pac and super car, but hides behind the curtain like the wizard of oz. What a wuss! or the opposite of brave Indian! People like Kilma have a choice..contribute to the demise of a dying race of people (money talks, bs walks) or get back on the red road and protect your tribe from the king and queen of evil themselves.
