Mark Macarro was Misleading on Prop. 48, watch him get caught in ANOTHER LIE in Interview

I just moved a previous post about Mark Macarro of Pechanga's misleading ad for NO on Prop 48 here in CA forward.  Watch this video, where he was caught lying in 16 seconds about the disenrollments of his own people.  One that also involves VOTER DISENFRANCHISEMENT.

This details the disenrollment of Pechanga members in 2006.  The Paulina Hunter descendents, which was the second family to be terminated from the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians.  Please listen to THEIR expert Dr John Johnson speak. WE DID NOT HIRE to review our family's Dr. Johnson, the foremost expert on California Indians PECHANGA DID. They used him to determine other families too.

Why did they not believe their OWN expert? Because he didn't come to the conclusion they wanted.  They accepted hearsay evidence versus the historical record of their own tribe. The preponderance of the evidence says that Paulina Hunter was Pechanga.   If Pechanga will CHEAT IT'S own people, won't they cheat YOU?

SADLY, Lawrence Madariaga, Hunter Family Elder, has passed away. This happened because Frances Miranda, Ihrene Scearce and Ruth Masiel disregarded their experts report, and believed a CHILD MOLESTER instead.  It's a disgrace and an action worthy of your scorn.

  1. Mark Macarro want to talk about integrity. He needs to start speaking the truth to people. their is an federal statute that go to the dept. of interior and the B.I.A. that can settle this once and for all and it follows the tribes constitution and bylaws
Commissioner of Indian Affairs Delegation of Authority Regarding Tribal Enactments Section 18 Paragraph (3) states Tribal enactments disenrolling persons found not to meet the established enrollment criteria. The Commissioner’s approval of such action shall be subject to appeal to the Secretary of the Interior.
Paragraph (4) The Commissioner shall forward to the Secretary, with a recommendation, ordinances, resolution, or contracts which, in the opinion of the Commissioner are: Inconsistent with an act of Congress or with a treaty or with tribal constitution or charter under which the ordinance, resolution, or contract was adopted, enacted, or negotiated; or should be disapproved or rescinded for any other reason.
Paragraph (5) Notwithstanding the provision of section 25 of this order, the Commissioner shall not redelegate the authority granted in this paragraph to any officer or employee who pursuant to a tribal constitution or charter passes upon ordinance, resolution, or contracts.

  3. How does the NIGC allow their casino to remain open when their employees rob their roulette game for $300,000+ within a month's time? For pechanga to do anything about their own corruption now would look ridiculous. All they can do now is hope incidents like this are not dragged out into the light. Yes on 48!! just because...

  4. Pala didn't want to believe their expert just as chukchansi didn't want to believe their enrollment expert either. The truth! They can't handle it, don't want to hear it, because the truth hurts. In order for tribe to be well they need enrollment fixed. The citizen of picayune are fighting for the opportunity to do just that for their people as a whole. Once the the IBIA allows the citizens of picayune rancheria, the founders, to clarify the constitution in order to solidify every enrollment then the ability for these tyrants to destroy lives will be taken away. These tyrants for years have bred fear into what tribal members are left, about the citizens of picayune, telling them THEY are the greedy ones that THEY want it all for themselves. This is a LIE, and always has been. The tyrants have spread these lies as a motor for their brick empires they built themselves. The members are the bricks. For years it's been the same group of council members (give or take a few to fill the seats as needed for looks) the bia needs to go to every rez or rancheria and see and speak to the real people rather than believe these criminals who have stolen million dollar chairs, and who will destroy any who say they are wrong. The picayune citizens have a real solution that benefits all, including employees. I am sure Pala citizens if given the chance does too. Keep fighting pala. Don't let the lies of these tyrants prevail, the tribe comes before the casino.

  5. What I can see is the enrollment and disenrollment proses is fine it's the tribal leaders that once in ignore their tribal constitution and bylaws and start disenrolling members and stealing profits for their own greed because nobody can hold them to their tribal constitution even though they are turned in to the B.I.A. after 1976. I also see the Dept. of interior , congress and the B.I.A. to blame for not stepping in on civil and criminal acts committed against Indians and protecting corrupt Indian government official that break their tribal government constitution for money and power. If a congress person or senator were to break the U.S. constitution for money and power and was found out would they not be brought up on criminal charges or threaten groups of people for no good reason to take their citizenship them. They would have a day in court protecting their civil rights.

  14. They are. It is about the money and jealousy of our large family. We had the biggest voting block, but we were stabbed in the back just before the election that would have seen Marcy lose.

  15. The truth is blatant threats of disenrollment if you question why these bad actors are doing anything they think is OK. At Pechanga the Bad actors allowed disenrollment of over 25% of the enrolled members, and then threatened to do the same to anyone who questioned them for doing it. As time goes on, the younger generations will continue to see the truth, the lies will only travel as far as the Bad actors hold power. The creator has a lesson for "ALL" to learn and the truth will come out. The question is do you believe it's ok to lie to hold power? If you think so continue lying. If your heart and stomach have not been taken over by greed say the truth. That's why this blog is here. We share the truth.
