PECHANGA TRIBE REFUSES to ALLOW FEDERAL Mail Carriers on the Pechanga Indian Reservation.

On Nov.17 we wrote that the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians, well known for civil and human rights violations of tribal people has added additional abuse onto allottees living on the reservation, namely the tribe led by Mark Macarro has confiscated mailboxes from those who live on the reservation that have been stripped of their citizenship.

Now, word comes from the Postmaster of the Temecula area that the tribe has refused letter carriers the authority to enter the reservation to deliver mail to the homes of those who have had their mailboxes taken.

Isn't that great?  A federal reservation that refuses federal employees access to deliver mail?  It proves that the abuse is deliberate, that Pechanga cannot be trusted and that the House was correct in not passing the water bill they spent so much tribal money trying to get passed.

  1. Pechanga is showing the true nature of their corruption. It is illegal to deny the postal service access to mail recipients. The tribe is going to piss of the Postmaster General. What is the BIA's ruling on the issue? Has anyone written a formal complaint to the Postmaster, BIA, The Director of the Department of the Interior. or the Department of Justice Attorney General? Remember you are fighting for your rights as allotte's. The squeaky. I think the media needs to be notified of the particlurs.

  3. It's an obvious sign they feel more powerful than the creator. The bad actors were given a choice to make and they decided to take away others rights, is that better than honoring ALL our rights? They can try and live with their choices while here and after they leave the story. Good luck to ALL, even the Bad Actors.

  4. No one is spinning any wheels. Everyone has a purpose in this life. The lessons learned along the way are priceless. The Bad Actors of Pechanga hope that their lies and misinformation justify their acts. The Hunter family belongs in the story books, and the Bad actors think it's ok to cast them into shameful situations. We prey for the creator to bring the truth forward, and the family had help inside and outside the band. This blog is a source for the truth to be shared along with others who have traveled and shared the truth outside the band. Now the Bad actors want to broadcast their bad behavior again and take mail services away because they think its their rights. They have to live with their choices, and after life hopefully they have done good deeds that out way the bad deeds they have broadcast. If not they can live with the outcome. Everything has a purpose, I hope more people choose the truth over the lies, so we can move on as ONE. I love you for showing me everything. I choose to live in the truth!!!! 4ever

  5. The solution to this matter is simple. The local postmaster should notify Pechanga that no mail will be delivered to the reservation and that all residents will have to pick up their mail at the post office. This will avoid discrimination which is what the Pechanga leadership is trying to force the USPS into.

I do hope that the USPS doesn't play the "we can't interfere game" and participates in the discrimination. But if they do, and the disenrollees are up for it, maybe this is one the ACLU would help out on. There is absolutely no reason why some reservation residents will get their mail and others won't, and the Tribe does not control the mail, or its delivery. This is on the USPS now.

It probably would be a good idea to let the local Post Office know how you feel about Tribal leadership preventing you from getting your mail. If you sit back and let it happen they might not think it is worth the effort to stand up to the tyrants.

  8. Being native is Not about taking. The pechanga tribe takes takes takes. They do not give to their people or any other. They say it is not about money, so why did they try to pass a bylaw that you can only enroll two children per household?
Pechanga is not only bad actors. The council are bad people. Not the Indian way to take, but to give to your tribe.
They are setting a bad example for ALL Indian country.
Please pray for them, for they have lost their way.
    Dishonoring the ancestors.

  11. This is exactly what the Bad Actors would love to see. Take away all the rights of anyone who is willing to share the truth. If you disagree with the Bad actors they will take away any rights they can with a swipe of a pen. What they forget is the actions can be brought back to them. Since others rights can be sacrificed, they should get ready for ALLS rights to be sacrificed.
