VIDEO: CHAOS Erupts at "Unification" Meeting for Chukchansi

Let the GAMES BEGIN!   Here's a video of a tribal meeting that was supposed to UNIFY the "factions" of supposed groups who claim "leadership".    Doesn't look so unified does it?

The Chukchansi leaders are trying to keep the money flowing.  To the people...uh, no, that's just a smokescreen.  It belies the recent post we had with their press release, don't you think?

This being said...it's not a whole lot different than a LOT of tribal meetings elsewhere...passions erupt.  If the American people would show such passion, we may not have the "leaders" in Congress we do.

WATCH, ENJOY and SHARE....

  1. This is ridiculous, they make all Natives look bad, it is sad that these meetings cannot be held with a calm respectful attitude, but then that goes to show us that these leaders have no respect from their people, that should be a major warning sign. When the leaders have respect from their people the only people to shout out at meetings are known as the troublemakers of the tribe. I am praying that they permanently close Chukchansi because these people and I mean all of them have shown that they cannot handle it in a mature adult way. Sorry to have to say that but it is true, even the members who think they have not been involved, their lack of fighting for all of their people's rights shows how much money is more important than family!

  2. Money Talks and the BS walks, It's amazing how people lower standers for money. The White Man may as well be right for branding us Indians savages. This should go to the media so all can see the real truth of how Chukchansi leaders miss handle monies and business.

  3. So they paid themselves a $1,000 to attend the meeting. The Fresno Bee's article is accurate. I do not believe the governing body is above board. I do not think the BIA should allow them to open the casino.

  5. There is no way to correct this. Too much greed and hatred for other families. The only solution would be the creation of representatives of each family, however with the amount of members and lack of leadership, this tribe is in turmoil and will stay that way. BIA intervention will not help and only create more confusion. Sorry to say but this tribe has a tremendous amount of work to do.

  6. The Federal government needs to step in and terminate this tribe's recognition.

  7. " The Federal government needs to step in "

The Federal government is laughing, they have always wanted the destruction of the American Indian, either through assimilation or just the plain destruction of there beliefs and or values.

Why do you people think the Federal government is going to step in and help? Step in they might, if only to support those who would aid in our distruction.

  9. No one said the Federal government should step in to help; it says they should terminated this tribe's recognition. Where did you get "step in and help" Luiseno?

  10. Where is this $1000.00 per member at the meeting coming from if they owe vendors and the Casino is closed? If they only get #400.00 a month, who has that much saved to pay this out to the members that showed to the meeting? Even if 100 people showed, that adds up to $100,000, do they have this kind of money on account and if they do, then why did they stop paying their employees? If the money is being put in by the Leaders, why do they have this much money? It is obvious that if you have to be paid to show up to a meeting and keep the most corrupt people in the committee, you are just as bad as they are. How long will that $1000 last, what maybe 1 1/2 months, sure hope it is worth throwing away your native pride and heritage, and cheating your relatives, because that is exactly what you are doing.

  11. for ALL nations...for ALL chukchansi peopleJanuary 28, 2015 at 5:03 PM

where did the money come from? remember the $49.6 million unaccounted for from proceeds of chukchansi gold? these tribal "leaders" need to be in prison, and a FORENSIC AUDIT should be the first order of the day for the nigc and the us congress--it is the congress DUTY to uphold the trust responsibility for ALL indian people--NOT just corrupt tribal government officials who hide behind tribal sovereignty to disenroll, and embezzle from their own people with no repercussion...

  12. reggie, nancy, bia, nigc are saying put the audit aside for now try to get the clean slate eldrion to open the casino and deal with audit later....

  13. Yes an audit should be part of the conditions in an agreement to reopen. Also there should be a clause that states none of the people who were in charge of the tribal council, casino, and other administrative position that are linked in anyway to the financial end of the tribe. This tribe needs authoritative guidance. It is hard to believe that there are not any members who have business experience or administrative degrees to help with the transition of power. another option is to ask the BIA to intercede with a proxy council selected by the BIA from members who have not served before, and then arrange for an hoist election. It is clear that the present group of Indian politicians are not up to the job of governance.

  16. I will say this about Pechanga's tribal meetings, the food that was catered was always good. I wonder if it still is? Do they still have regular meetings?

  17. So all these people sold themselves for $1000 under the guise of a clean election by the very people (Reggie, Nancy, Chance...)that didn't file the audit, which caused the casino to be closed. SOLD YOUR SOUL FOR a measely $1000 when Reggie and his band of thugs have millions. smh
