Since at least 2011, the Nooksack Business Corporation an entity owned by the Nooksack Indian Tribe, has tried to shirk its responsibility to pay back about $15 million in loans it obtained from now-defunct BankFirst in 2006. PAYBACK? PAYBACK? We don't need no stinkin' payback, right, we are sovereign..
The loan stipulates that Outsource could go after gaming machines and the furnishings inside the casino, along with enterprise accounts, but otherwise is limited. Likewise, the corporation argued that if the casino were to close tomorrow, Outsource could go only after those few items.
“If we close the casino and turn over all the property, then it’s done,” Martin said. To which we say:
NOW we know the real reason they want to DISENROLL the Nooksack 306: TO SAVE MONEY. It's a business decision, not about BLOOD, not about the RIGHT TO BELONG.
NOOKSACK CHEATERS: In 2012 when Outsource tried to get the tribe’s other casino, Northwood, which was then Northern Crossings, to cough up roughly $26 million it had borrowed from a different bank to design and build the casino, the tribe dissolved its ownership entity Nooksack Business Corp. II and transferred all that casino’s assets to another entity, court documents allege.
“That’s why we’re pushing for a judgment, so we get protections,” Miranowski argued. “The tribe was very bold to simply dissolve the Crossings corporate entity and transfer to another one not subject to the judgment.”
Is there ANY way to get GOOD KARMA BACK? ANYONE...? ANYONE?

Kill the golden goose! That'll get peoples' attention. If it's done enough times, word will get out that disenrollment doesn't pay.
Disenrollment does not pay, and the truth is being broadcast from all directions. The greedy bad actors either see the outcome or are ignoring it. Crime is a bad action, and stripping others of their inherent rights is a crime. Stripping others of their rights because you hold office, and can break custom and tradition and bylaws is the ship sinker. Every bad Action has a consequence. Either you or your descendants will pay for it. Criminals always pay their dues.
Hunters are long time recognized members of Pechanga. Recorded history goes all the way back to the reservations creation before 1890. Disenrolling a clan with a huge voting block, that also holds federal, state, and band recognition before a casino is a criminal act. Hunters were here along time before $$$, and enrolled to continue Federal, state and Band recognition. Luiseno Indians we are.
Quilich, Berdugo, Hunter all related recognized in certified recorded history by Rodriguez, Stevenson, Ashman just to name a few. ALL Allotted members of Pechanga. Over 100 Hunters enrolled formally in the 1970's after the bands Enrollment policy change. No corn field or Casino then!
Respect our Elders and Ancestors. We ALL need to face the truth. We Are ALL Pechanga.
PECHANGA IS A MADE UP NAME, WE'RE LUSIENIO.
Luiseno is a Spanish name that derives from the Mission system of enslavement of Indians. In this case it comes from Mission San Luis Rey. The Indians who were under the power and authority of Mission San Luis Rey were called Luisenos.
The Indian name for the indigenous people who called Temecula home is Payómkawichum which means People of the West.
Our Ancestors traveled and visit miles and miles to gather and share from mountains to ocean. Temeku still is the sun shining through the mist in the morning. Pechanga the source of the drip still here. Luiseno-San Luis Rey bands of Mission Indians abducted clans for the settlers. We are ALL here for a reason. NO ONE IS MORE PECHANGA, LUISENO, TEMECULA than ALL. We ALL need to share and help ALL. Our Ancestors already went through invaders and settlers. We don't need to cast that club within the Bands.
