CRIMEWATCH: TRIBAL JUSTICE THE PECHANGA WAY

In our discussions with family and friends about tribal justice, our cousin made some points about the wonders of tribal justice, the Pechanga Way:

The two disenrolled families, the descendants of Manuela Miranda and Paulina Hunter , found wrongdoing in thePechanga Band of Luiseno Indians' enrollment committee.

JUSTICE THE PECHANGA WAY:  Get rid of the families that found the wrongdoing, so that another Indian family won't be enrolled.  Non Pechanga families get to stay in the tribe.

Non members who steal from the tribe; Delvecchio,Robinson, Riley and the Tran theft ring get prosecuted and imprisoned.

JUSTICE THE PECHANGA WAY:  Members who steal from the tribe, get a short "disenfranchisement" period and like Jennie Miranda, get welcomed back into the tribe.

Pechanga whistleblower, and confidential informant who points out corruption in the Pechanga Resort & Casino, has his life threatened, gets fired, has his reputation ruined and is rendered unemployable in the industry because he won't tell the Pechanga Gaming Commission what the federal investigators were searching for.  The Pechanga Tribal Council refused to arbitrate and the appeals court ruled he was intentionally harmed by the gaming commission, denying the tribe's sovereignty argument.

JUSTICE THE PECHANGA WAY:   Tribal Chairman Mark Macarro's brother, tribal attorney John, who couldn't pass the state bar,  yet drew a $300,000 per salary, gets caught stealing from the tribe.. A SECOND TIME, pleads poverty and agrees to repay tribe $1,000 per month....which is essentially a ZERO interest loan without consequence.  He keeps his Mercedes, his Temecula home, his Hawaii home, his vacations in Europe.   Imagine what the tribe doesn't  know about?

This is a direct result of illegally enrolled criminal frauds. This is a case where legitimate Indians booted in hate crime so criminal non-indians can remain in control.

FRAUDULENTLY ENROLLED tribal members have created a CULTURE OF CORRUPTION.

  1. I don't know if you saw that Pechanga won Best Casino on the USA Today 10 Best Readers' Choice, but I want you to know it was all a sham. It wasn't casino patrons voting. It was all casino employees. Of course there's no way to prove how many votes came from actual employees, but I know for a fact that their marketing people pressed the employees to vote with one vote per day per electronic device. With something like 4000 employees, it's no wonder they won.

  3. Those drawings can be fixed too. When I worked at Morongo, one of the managers gf (Sandra) worked in the club and she would fix the drawings to make her friends and relatives win and split it with them. It went on for a long time before she got caught. She got many of us fired because she knew we might find out. After they both got fired I heard they wound up at Saboba and he was fired from there too. They sound like they would fit right in with the Pechsnga thiefs.I hear her daughter married a Pechanga member.

  6. They were California State Department of Justice investigators not federal. The only feds involved at that time were NIGC (National Indian Gatekeeper's of Corruption), who turned a blind eye.

  7. Daily Pechanga and others who have lost the respect for ALL, have a chance to do the right thing and honor our Ancestors. ALL our Ancestors to start with. It would be wonderful to see if that would happen!

  9. Sad, a day after equal rights for the United States, there is NO rights in Indian Country. When tribes wield sovereignty like a weapon, the results damage ALL Indigenous peoples. No rights for some, equal no rights for all.

  10. Since tribes are sovereign, do they approve of gay marriage? They seem to pick and choose what laws to follow. Like they allow smoking in the Casino when it is illegal to smoke or to allow employees to be exposed to smoke in California in the workplace, yet they won't give free drinks because California won't allow it. More like they make a lot of money at 3.75 for a beer.

  11. Tribes are under the illusion they are "sovereign", particularly those that are wealthy. Yet, if the state wanted to, they could relocate a tribe, such as Pechanga, to a remote and desolated area because tribes in California do not own their land, it is held in trust by the federal government. It's akin to being a ward of the state. This "sovereignty" is an illusion due to the fact that tribes receive federal monies with directives on how said monies shall be spent. Tribes that abuse this "illusion of sovereignty" will eventually bring about their own demise.
