UPDATE: San Pasqual Tribe's ALTO FAMILY DESCENDANTS lose in Federal Court

We've written about the Alto family case numerous times, now, the Federal Court has ruled.

The Marcus Alto descendants were enrolled based on information subsequently determined to be inaccurate and, as a result, their names must be deleted from the Band's roll.

THIS "Case is  closed."

The Trask family should be concerned, as they are even less San Pasqual...

UPDATE:  I have a statement on the ALTO CASE:  ON TO THE 9th Circuit!

The Alto Family will be appealing to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal. The district court agreed with Echo Hawk, but there are substantial grounds to appeal the district court's decision to the 9th Circuit.
In fact, Regional sided with the Alto's evidence as did District Court Judge Irma Gonzales who found a likelihood that the Alto family would prevail on the merits when the preliminary injunction was issued. The Altos' fight is with the BIA and they look forward to Ninth Circuit review of Echo hawk's decision and clearing up this dispute.

  1. There were a few fundamental problems with the Alto enrollment was that Frances Muncy and the BIA's enrollment of them was erroneous in the first place. They have NO San Pasqual Blood and never should have been enrolled. As far as the Trask's, they have NO San Pasqual blood and should never have been enrolled. It is time to clean out the San Pasqual to enroll the true San Pasqual descendants.

  2. Will Muncy face discipline for this failure?

  3. She should!!!! She is at the root of all of the enrollment problems at San Pasqual, as well as other tribes!

  8. I am sorry for the Alto family in this regard, you believe that you are San Pasqual and have fought a good fight. But, you have been told for years by the true San Pasqual that you did not possess the blood of San Pasqual. A good a decent San Pasqual family took in your ancestor and raised him to be a good and decent hardworking man who is and will always be remembered historically as the son of Jose & Maria Alto. However, the truth will also be remembered, that as an infant, they took him in and raised him, and love him, as their own. For enrollment in the San Pasqual tribe, you never did have the blood. It has never been and is not meant to be disrespectful. It is just the truth that all of the true San Pasqual have always known.

I hope on this difficult day, you will reflect upon your tight association with Allen Lawson and all of the Trask family. They do not belong, either, which gave you a tight bond. I hope on this difficult day, you will reflect upon the manner in which you have treated the Jose Juan descendants over the years. Which has been to work against them. We all know what went down in the past and what specific members of your family did to work against them. Don't try and deny it because WE know.

Did you know that Jose Juan was blood related to Jose & Maria Alto? They were full blood, as was Jose Juan. They were family. We are family too, but not blood family. Your ancestor was adopted.

Whether you appeal or not, the truth has come out not once but twice. It is the truth. Spend your money appealing, it will end in the same place. We wish you all God's speed and the best in your future endeavors. However, those endeavors will not include membership in the San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians.

For all of the natives that have been disenrolled from your tribe by imposters that do not belong. Please send the San Pasqual your prayers. We will not stop our fight to be recognized. We will send out prayers to you, so that one day you may have a ruling like the one that came out, not only by Larry Echohawk, but by the Federal Court that sustained his original decision. And, you, too, will be one step closer to taking back your tribes and being rightfully recognized. The San Pasqual sends this good wish to all native brothers and sisters. Never give up the fight!

  9. Right on. These reservations need to be cleaned up from frauds. The Hunter family was kicked out because they aren't even Pechanga, and they still whine. Get over it. There's a bunch of frauds in Rincon and Pauma. You can hate Robert Smith from Pala but he kicked out a big part of the Fraudulent Brittan family. There needs to be a cleaning of the Rez's. Too many wanna be Natives. Faking there way onto our land.

  10. The Trask family should be concerned, not because they possess even less. The Trask family should be concerned because, like the Alto's, they have NO San Pasqual blood and were erroneously enrolled. It is time they be disenrolled under the same 48.14 provision that caused the Alto's to be disenrolled.

THE TRASK FAMILY DO NOT BELONG TO SAN PASQUAL. THE TRASK FAMILY HAVE NO SAN PASQUAL BLOOD. THE TRASK FAMILY PRIMARILY DESCEND FROM THE WHITE PIONEERS THAT BURNED THE TRUE SAN PASQUAL OFF OF THEIR LAND. THE TRASKS HAVE TRIED TO STEAL THE LAND SINCE THEY WERE ALLOWED ON IN 1910. THEY DO NOT BELONG. THE TRASKS HAVE WORKED FOR YEARS TO KEEP OUT THE TRUE SAN PASQUAL. THE TRASK'S MUST BE TREATED IN THE SAME MANNER AS THE ALTO FAMILY . . . YOU DON'T BELONG YOU ARE OUT!!! IT IS TIME. THEY MUST GO!!!!!!! CASE CLOSED!!!!

  11. The Brittain family wasn't disenrolled. Margarita Brittain was a full blood from Kupa. You just disqualified yourself as believable by stating the Brittain family is fraudulant. There are still several Brittains enrolled in Pala to this day including the Chairman's daughters and wife.

  14. The Hunters were proven to belong, using the tribe's own documents, and the tribe's expert.

So simple, even moron's can understand. But that wasn't the point of the disenrollment..

  15. Its sad when the truth is crystal clear and ignored. Just like the Hunter clan, not only are they Pechanga, Luiseno, Temecula, they are allotted clan with oral recorded depositions from many elders who only spoke Luiseno when the rez was created. the records are ALL crystal clear. If your comfortable ignoring the truth and spreading lies may the creator find the good things in you before you leave the story book.

  16. At Pechanga the custom and tradition and cultural preservation is not honoring ALL elders who recorded the truth about the creation of the reservation. It's disrespecting those records and the elders of the band, ignoring the truth to justify written statements from a child molester in prison, or squatters who support other factions and keep them so they can say others are less than me. The liars justify their actions, but in the book the story was already created, that's why we are ALL here. TRUTH.

  17. Is this a Hunter family Blog?

    ReplyDelete
  18. No this blog is to share the TRUTH of ALL episodes of dishonoring Ancestors and trying to justify disenrolling members of bands, even if the same actions could be used against ALL members. No One is more than ALL.

  19. But the Hunter family runs this blog?
