* * * MERRY CHRISTMAS *** FROM ORIGINAL PECHANGA * * *

The next three days will be spent with family and friends. The Christmas shopping's done, the grocery shopping is done. Do you all have a wish list? Here are some of the things I'm wishing for:

1. I wish that the Hunter & Manuela Miranda Family can emerge stronger after more than a decade of Christmases under disenrollment. We don't need strong, silent types, we need vocal types, and we need more of us in the fight, to honor our ancestors.

2. I hope the CPP, who have gotten a felon elected to Pechanga's council, will have this as their last Christmas. Maybe get some hearts as their evil ones die off.

3.  I'm hoping that the thousands f disenrolled tribal members will band together adding their voices together, not just to complain, but to act.  We've gotten more attorney's involved, we've increased the wattage on the spotlights shining on the corruption, we've gotten more news stories.   We need MORE arrows in the quiver....and that comes from YOU...

4.  I'm hoping that more will help by sharing our posts on social media, liking those post ON social media.  Use our email list to keep our politicians both informed....and ON NOTICE that we expect them to act.   At the bottom of each post, there are buttons to share on TWITTER, FACEBOOK and PINTEREST, and to also GOOGLE + the story.  These simple actions..will help.  We don't need you standing in the snow...simple presses of the buttons...

Disenrolled posthumously

Merry Christmas to all of you.
Be safe, enjoy the time with your family.

  3. Merry Christmas to all those who have been harmed by the disenrollment actions. Though these are lean times for us, we will come out stronger from enduring the abuse and discrimination, and keeping centered on our heritage as Native Americans.

Now it is time to celebrate with family, honor our ancestors, and pray for positive change. Let us each resolve to act powerfully in the next year to overturn the evil actions that divide the people.

  4. Merry Christmas to you, your family, and all who have been devastated by the corrupting influence of gold and the illusion of power. The casino is doing to a once proud people what alcohol did to your ancestor. This fight has been ongoing and the generations to come need us here now to not give up or in just because it is hard.

  5. How does Basquez get on the Council when he can't even get a gaming license? The voting members must be deaf, dumb and blind to vote him in.

  6. Another Pala Elder has passed on today.
Henry Smith aka Booty, passed away this morning and will be missed by his family and friends.

The vote is RIGGED, ever since they stopped counting votes, and relied on a machine to do the counting for them I suspected they were going to be rigged.

  8. I know what you are saying 5:57PM.
Pala just got some new machines at the last meeting.
So I called the company that makes them and asked about them.
They told me that the hand held ones can be changed with a password.
All you have to do is put your password in the main computer and bingo it's done.

  9. Are you surprised that the corrupt leadership would not find a way to manipulate the vote. They just had to pay a company to make it possible to write the operating software to work in their favor. The only way to get a fair vote is to have an independent unbiased regulator to oversee and conduct the vote, but you know that the corrupt leadership would never allow for that to happen.

  10. I liked it when they had the good old fashioned pen and paper tally, and as each vote was counted they put a checkmark next to the appropriate name, you could follow it via an overhead projector. I loved it when the general council discovered a mistake, and everyone would yell out to go back and correct it.

  11. Cassandra Dame,
Have you ever considered taking a shower and keep your private area trimmed?
