Do Native American Millenials KNOW What Their "Elders" Did to Natives Via Disenrollment?

We asked some questions in the first installment of the reprise of Pechanga's Splinter Group leading the way to Tribal Genocide, via paper, of over 20% of it's tribal membership. .. So many young members of the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians from Temecula CA... Have NO idea what went on.

REALLY, though, all young who were, say 12 years of age when the disenrollments happened at Redding, Enterprise, Chukchansi and Pechanga, are now 25 years old.  DO THEY KNOW?

Do they know that a family was disenrolled, even though they are descended from the man whose land grant the casino now sits? Or, was the first chairperson of their tribe after getting their rights back? (Redding)

Do they know the Pechanga tribal council went against the will of their people?

Do REDDING millenials KNOW they forced the Foreman family to DIG UP their ancestor for a DNA test, which PROVED they belonged, and STILL were disenrolled?
Do they know Hunter descendants have been on their reservation land since BEFORE most of the tribal population was born?

DO Pechanga Millenials KNOW the tribe HIRED an expert, paid him THOUSANDS of dollars and then DIDN'T USE his work because it disagreed with their plans?

Do millenials, now voting age, KNOW they, as members can ask to see financial reports to know where the tribe's money is going?

IN this day and age of monuments coming down, tear down that "wall of silence" and start asking the hard questions.

THE FIGHT FOR NATIVE RIGHTS can start in your own RESERVATION!  Start there.

this is a good question...and i believe that the answer is, absolutely, NO!!! many of those at picayune in their 20's and 30's--including several who are now running for prci tribal council in the next election--are aware of the most recent disenrollments in 2010-2012 and openly condemn them...although also aware of previous disenrollments, they have absolutely no idea of the carnage caused in 2006-2007 by the disenrollments at that time, as many of their own parents, grandparents, aunties, and uncles who sat on the disenrolling prci councils at that time have convinced them that THOSE disenrollments were somehow "righteous"...those same individuals who now claim to be "against disenrollment", some of whom still sit on council today, were the very ones that "righteously" disenrolled 600 chukchansi people in 2006-2007, with no burden of proof, and utilizing reasoning of missing documents to disenroll when files were stolen and destroyed by earlier government officials...these future generations DO NOT know the real truth--otherwise 600 chukchansi people arbitrarily and capriciously disenrolled would be brought home to picayune today....truth to power....!!! #StopDisenrollment #BringOurPeopleHome #WeBelong

  2. Civil rights abuses at the hand of corrupt tribal leaders (Chairman Greg Sarris of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria) are ongoing and unchecked.

  3. Greg Sarris is a white man. That is why he is against disenrollment.
