Indianz.com has the story of the CA Tribes whining that their small populations don't allow them to get a fair share of the BILLIONS made available to tribes. Well YEAH, you eliminated members to STEAL per capita, and didn't save for a rainy day?

Particularly rich, in this letter from TASIN and CNIGA this passage:

“The population-based formula chosen by Treasury for its distribution of the initial $4.8 billion is particularly inequitable for California tribes because of the legacy of the genocide endured by California tribes,” the Indian nations write. “That history is the ugly backdrop to the small tribal populations that we see today in the state.”

After laughing from this, I had to think, are they blind?  It's like a kid who kills his parents and tries to go free because he's an orphan...

Some of these tribes in CA have decimated their own populations!
