Two interesting things here.
1. Hasn't she hosted the Film Festival at Pechanga in the past?
Obviously they don't like the work she's doing, or the facts she's exposing.
2. Now Pechanga is calling themselves Payomkawichum? First it was the Temecula Band of Luiseno, then Pechanga, now we're going with Payomkawichum?
How many name changes are they going to make? Just keep running away from the negativity you've created in Indian Country. Good choice.
Not only is there no proof offered to show Dr. Proudfit doesn't belong, there are also no citations showing Dr. Proudfit ever claimed Pechanga ancestry.

1. They state she is not Native American. (unfounded)
2. She could be Native from another tribe giving her the right to speak for Indian women in Ca.
3. Just because you're not a tribal remember does not mean your native right disenrolled people?
