All of Indian Country had high hopes for the first Native American Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland when she was chosen. Well, not all. The Freedmen of the Five Civilized Tribes were against her choice, you can read about that here

Biden Interior Secretary Deb Haaland is left completely and totally dumbstruck after being asked a series of simple questions on China and the production of critical minerals.
How can we expect her to understand the issues of disenrollment which affects 11,000 living Native Americans? Just because she's Native?

I’m sure there are more, figure heads, nothing more, put in place to be seen and not heard. Do the bidding of higher ups, who are dividing and destroying the country. ( conversation for another day)

Found that they violated the JFA # 99-346 which bars the tribe ( Saginaw Chippewa Tribe) from discriminating against disenrolled members. Remanded back to the Interior, One year latter, we have heard NOTHING!! A year has gone by, lives have been lost, homes lost, LIVES CHANGED FOREVER!!
DISCRIMINATION for any other race would be splashed across the media, denounced, the outrage, addressed immediately, go fund me’s, millions would be raised, protest would occur, the moral outrage. Oh that’s right you’re a Native American, SILENCE!!!!!
Years of Court battle after court battle only to be silenced by a system that does not care to hear the cry’s of the disenfranchised and the disenrolled!!
Deb Haaland if you are reading this or one of your other token people are reading this “ WE DEMAND ACTION”
Stop hiding in the shadows and do something, STAND UP FOR THE DISENROLLED OF THIS NATION, DO YOUR JOB!!

She couldn't even defend her herself on some simple questions China pollution and overfishing and Plastics. She seemed so overwhelmed and intimidated by this congress man how would she be able to address the wrongs of illegal disenrollment and the civil rights violation of this act. Also, the truss responsibility by the government she works for.
Ironic that the former Secretary of Interior Ryan Zinke, now Congressman Zinke is the person raking her over the coals. Explains the look on her face. A Native American being used only for her nativeness and obviously she is clueless.
Given her lack of knowledge and apparent disconnect, do you honestly believe she can possibly do anything for any Native?
